Q: Do the candles light up?

Dear Andrew - This is a lovely, sturdy, beautiful, blue wooden Menorah - just great for children of any age. The candles are also wooden and equally colorful but do not light up, however they are removable and can be used manually by the child to add to the Menorah as each night progresses through the week. I purchased it for my great grandchildren a few years ago - each Chanukah it comes out of storage so they can participate it our ceremony!! I have 3 great-grand kids, owns a Menorah ; 2 have this particular one, the youngest (3 yr old ) has a different one. ENJOY THE HOLIDAY.

Q: Do the flames come out of the candles?

No , they are attached to the candles

Q: Does it come with the star in the middle or is it the rainbow design like pictured I prefer the rainbow one as pictured is why I'm asking?

I bet what you see is what is sold. I bought the one with the star and it’s really nice. Great quality and kids are playing with it all year around!

Q: What is suggested age for this menorah?

I would say ant age - this is such a charming menorah - it's for a family celebration - I have 3 great grand kids- 2 are 5yr old twins & their 3 yr old sister - plus parents & grandparents & me - we gathered together over THEIR MENORAH WITH SO MUCH FUN!!! It's very attractive - we hope to use it again this year. ENJOY!
