Q: Would 4 of these microphones work together on a Peavey PV6 USB Mixing Console? I'm trying to set up a live stream with some friends with separate mics

Hi. It will not work. This is a condenser microphone and requires 1.5 to 10 volts of phantom power, the Peavey mixer provides phantom power but only on the XLR inputs. There is no phantom power on the 1/4" input. As specified by Pyle, these microphones are mainly used on certain wireless microphone body pack that are design to supply the required voltage at the connection point. I would not recommend any modification or adapters, because will invalidate the warranty from the manufacturer. There are some other options, like using a dynamic microphone that does not requires phantom power. Hope this information is useful.

Q: does it work through an amplifier?

To make this microphone work, you need a transmitter to plug into and a receiver to go into an amplifier. But then it works great.
