Works fine so long as you install correctly, do some homework. I watched a couple of you tube videos to aid installation. Comes with zero instructions which is very poor. OK it's easy enough to work it out. As others have said the screws it comes with aren't great. Therefore it's important to drill the right size pilot hole for them. I went with a 2.5mm on frame & 3.0mm in the actual door. Our door is a composite one. Also you need a screwdriver with a good grip & one that is sized for the screws, otherwise you're going to mess up the heads for sure with these screws. It's worth considering getting some quality screws instead. I was prepared for this, but thought I'd try them first. All went well for me. So overall i'm happy. So far. Will see how it goes after we've used it for a while. But seems sturdy & looks fine.

I don’t do reviews much in less I like the product.I find the xfort door chain restrictor to be strong easy to fit. It has welded links long screws for added security and enough room when opening door to look out and receive small packages without opening door fully excellent product will last years

I have used these for years.. Peace of mind when leaving the house easy to put the the extra chain latch in place when leaving the House.. Then easy to insert the Key to remove when returning.. Dual purpose Chain on when at Home and Chain on when out.. Good solid construction. Peace of Mind.

The chain and catch seem pretty good, but the screws are not, if you are trying to screw into anything other than plastic I would strongly suggest using alternatives, as the ones provided will twist and the heads snap off.
