Excellent Mini Saw
Had one of the original models, but the blades are getting harder and harder to find. Got a gift card at work and used it to upgrade. Gave away my old one. It replaces the need for larger saws. I have already used it to cut metal roofing, wire mesh fencing, plywood, and even trim around a new window. Works great. Got the corded model because I was concerned about torque (founded or unfounded), I didn't want to chance it. Glad I got the saw. It is only marginally heavier than the original.

Many uses
Used to cut floor tile, great for tight spaces and door jam to fit tile in space.

Great Tool
Works great when you have to get close to an adjacent object.

Decent tool for what it is, bummer there was not case or storage.
Works well. Used to undercut baseboard for hardwood floors. Will leave a 3/16" gap at bottom of cut which is too much for most applications to look decent. Ended up planning a board down to get the fit just right. Overall cut was smooth and quick. Saw performed well and didn't seem to bog down much when getting pinched (was only cutting pine trim) Way better quality than using the oscillating tool around the whole perimeter. Took a 4 hour job down to a couple minutes once I had the unit dialed in to get the perfect 3/4" gap by fussing with the mentioned planed piece. The above was the main reason to purchase without having to drop $450 on a jamb saw. Outside of the ability to flush cut I honestly cannot see myself using this before other saw(s) or an angle grinder, but who knows. Might come in handy. Not coming with a case was worth docking a star. Not going to be any real workhorse for the carpenter or serious DIY'er, but might serve some functions every once in a while. If you have 0 experience and want something to cut something as a home owner, this might be the place to start.

Used to install doggie door
This is a high quality item, especially for the price. Made of sturdy metal and included a blade that came pretty close to being completely flush. I used this to expand the hole size in a wall for a larger dog door to replace an old one. The portion of wall was comprised of 2 layers of plywood, each 1/2 inch thick and I used it for plunge cuts. I also used it to trim some boards used for framing, again each 1/2 an inch. I haven’t used a circular saw for several decades but this was very intuitive, easy to control and made clean, straight cuts very easily. Highly recommend!

Great and light yet powerful compared to the bulky hand held miter saw. I highly recommend it.
This saw can cut through 3/4" plywood board like butter. Great and light yet powerful compared to the bulky hand held miter saw. I highly recommend it. I was honestly blown away with its performance.

Great tool - this is my second purchase as my son took my first unit. Cuts just about everything - I use it mostly for cutting plywood, drywall and flooring. Best tool for square precision cutouts for switches, air vents etc. I also use it to cut full sheets, but you have to manage the added dust when cutting drywall vs. a manual blade. I haven't tried tile, but I just purchased the diamond blade. Don't let some of the reviews fool you - per the manual the "Max. cutting depth (is) 3/4 inches", so the saw doesn't work on 5/4" or 2" decking as some might have you believe. Price for this product seems to be the same everywhere, but I found the prices of blades to be lower on Amazon. I always go with corded power tools, as there are plenty of portable tools without lithium batteries in pawn shops everywhere for good reason - i.e., the lithium batteries don't last.
