My boyfriend is obsessed with mexican candy, but it’s hard to find sometimes, especially any sort of variety, so this was absolutely perfect.

I got these candies as an American to try. When I tell you the smell was awful and the taste was worst. My advice is DO NOT EAT MEXICAN CANDIES IF YOUR NOT MEXICAN! I almost threw up, and I love sweet, salty, and spicy candies. BUT THIS- ITS SO AWFUL, SO STINKY, AND SO STUPID! I would never buy again. THIS ITEM IS T-R-A-S-H! And I’m not even the type to write REVIEWS BUT I AN TODAY!!

This candy is amazing! It’s spicy, it’s salty, it’s sweet. It is all of the best things about Mexican candy! I grew up in south Texas where the ice cream man use to sell this stuff out of the truck when I was a little kid. Still to this day it is my favorite kind of candy! I’m currently pregnant and I was very happy to find a bag of all of my cravings. Everything was fresh, everything was sealed, and everything tasted JUST AS IT SHOULD HAVE. Do not expect this to be your regular candy like sour patch kids-it’s not. It’s not supposed to be, they don’t intend for it to be. Again, it is meant to be SALTY, SPICY, and SWEET. The types of flavors are things like watermelon, chamoy, mango, and tamarind. If you do not like those flavors, or you don’t like Lucas or spicy things, this is not the choice for you. Do not blame the candy because it’s not in your pallet of flavors.

Some of these candies were delicious & others were a miss. When it came to the lollipops with Lucas it seemed the polvo or "chili powder" tasted old or expired. Those were the only ones that tasted weird. The others were delicious.
