I purchased this to use instead of Shea butter in an herbal salve recipe. This was my first experience with cocoa butter and I really enjoyed it. I LOVE the scent - it smells very faintly of white chocolate. And, the scent is faint enough that it is pleasant but does not overwhelm the slightly floral scent of the herbal oil.Measuring was super easy since it comes in chunks. I really liked how the chunks are different sizes since it let me weight out exactly the amount that I needed for the recipe.Melting was a cinch - I just added it to my double boiler along with the beeswax and the oil and it melted in minutes. It also mixed cleanly with the oil and wax and created a nice final product.Overall, this smells lovely and is easy to use and I definitely recommend it. I would certainly buy this brand again!

Using this to make homemade chocolate. I can determine the amount of sugar I add to make diabetic friendly sweets for my family. It melts well and has a wonderful cocoa aroma. Will buy again.

I used this to make a non dairy chocolate, very tasty. I’m not sure if it’s technically vegan, but if you have an allergy to cow’s milk, this makes great candy
