Great tongs
Awesome tongs for a beginner getting started. Very sturdy, and holds smaller stock very easily.Take note that these are very short. They have a pair of these on amazon with longer handles, but I'm fine with these. Put gloves on if you have to go deep into the forge with them.

Decent quality, but size is misleading
They feel great and work as intended, but the photos are misleading. They work well for a shallow one to two burner forge, but I wouldn't use then to anything larger.

Is it heavy duty enough
Works great in the forge. Keeps hands and arms safe while handling hot items.

Slight miss
I was linked to this item from a page on beginning blacksmithing. They can do the job for not causing me to burn my hands, but no matter how much pressure I use to hold onto a piece of hot steel, the piece will go flying out of the tong's grasp. I've had one piece of hot steel trim my bangs. They are a good set to get you started or if just mild fittaling, but you will end up making or buying a more reliable pair of tongs after a while.
