This is fun, and educational too if you are into "Believe It or Not" and "trivia facts". All the answers are numbers, so you bet the highest number without going over. I am not much of a board game player, but when all the nieces and nephews, grandparents, and everyone in between got together to play, it was a lot of fun! You can play teams too, if there are a lot of people. Probably one of the better games that has no age advantage...

Q: How does one decide between original W&W, Part W&W, &Family W&W?

Original is for 3-7 players, Party is 4-20 players, and Family is 3-10 players like original but easier questions and scoring is easier. So it depends on how many people you plan to play with, and the age group of people that are playing.

Q: what is the difference between original and family game

The family edition can truly be played with the whole family. The questions are a little simpler. More fun. For example it will ask questions about Disney things like, "how many balloons helped lift the house in the movie UP" or "How many seasons did Hannah Montana air" or asked world record questions " How tall is the tallest man" "how many lbs is the fattest pig" etc. Not only was the family edition fun for my 6 yr old nephew, but also all the adults playing. My parents have the original edition and even say the questions aren't "as fun".

Q: what version/year is this one? I have an older version and I want to make sure I'm not purchasing the same one again.
