Great Tasting Milk Tea
I'm totally new to milk tea. After trying milk tea a few weeks prior when a coworker brought it in, I was hooked. I was sorely disappointed when I saw the prices my local stores were selling milk tea drinks. So I searched milk teas on Amazon to make at home as a less costly alternative than the tea shops. I chose this Royal Milk tea as it seemed have the most value. I was not disappointed! It comes in neat individual sticks that makes it very convenient to use and to take with you to travel. I've used cold water, hot water, and cold milk and all 3 methods were great. For the easiest and least costly method would be obviously just adding cold water. You can buy some boba pearls to add to this product if you like but this Royal Milk Tea stands on it's own. It tastes great and not too sweet. Very refreshing and convenient at a much lower price point than going to a tea shop! Highly Reccomend!

Great deal on a great product
I love milk tea, and this is a really great brand for instant tea powder packets. I like to brew these up, then pour them over ice, sometimes with boba. It's just the right amount of tea, creamer, and sweetness. These are great to put in your lunch bag on cold days and to take when traveling for an easy, quick beverage (unless you like hotel coffee and mugs of sadness; you do you). I love that this was a two-pack, and is such a great value. This Royal brand has a lot of great flavor options too. I really like the peach and the honey flavors, and the strawberry is really nice too!

DELICIOUS! A JOHN LENNON FAVORITE
I first heard of royal milk tea while watching a travel show about Japan. The beverage was a favorite of John Lennon's whenever he and Yoko stayed at 250+ year-old Mampei Hotel in Karuizawa, a mountain resort area in Japan. Interesting. So I checked out the tea concoction thanks to Amazon.Delicious! A sweet treat I now look forward to as a convenient change of pace from my daily coffee. While there are no prep instructions in English, it's simple -- add the Royal Milk Tea powder to hot water and stir, adjusting the amount of water to taste. I use two packets for a large mug. When I want a stronger tea flavor or caffeine zing, I steep a teabag in the water before adding the Royal Milk Tea powder. And contrary to another reviewer’s comment, you don’t need scissors to open the packets — there's a small notch just above the gold line & word "open," to easily tear them open.05/19/2021 UPDATE: Having now received my second order of Royal Milk Tea, I'm happy to report that the distributor has placed a label on the package that details ingredients and preparation instructions in English (see photos). Also, the manufacturer's printed expiration date is well over a year in the future -- plenty of time to enjoy my tea! Highly recommended!

Need to use 2 packs to get desired taste
Firstly, everything is in Japanese so here’s a run down of how you can make this milk tea. Heat up water in the microwave until it’s hot (this is important because I have tried to just use room temp water and the powder didn’t dissolve). Then put the package in and stir, voila, milk tea. I find that for my taste I like to put in 2 packages at once, it’s just more flavorful that way. Overall, the taste is good, very easy and quick to make in the morning before leaving for work. I also have been bringing the packages with me places because you only need hot water to make this, super convenient. Definitely a lot cheaper than spending $7 on a cup of milk tea at the store!

Delicious
I was born in England, and moved the US at the age of 2, having an English mother, I drank hot tea as most Brits do from a very young age until I went into the Military at 18. Working on Fighter/Bombers stopping at Base Ops for drinks and food during our shift, I never had time to dunk a tea bag. So I moved from Tea to Coffee, and left the hot tea behind. My first cup of this tea brought back many memories of my childhood. I've always had a sweet tooth but gave up sugar 2 years ago, (lost 82 lbs). Only had to use one Stevia to make it as sweet as I used to drink it with 2 heaping tsp of sugar. If you love tea with milk, you can't go wrong with this, excellent.

Delicious!
Make sure to prepare it properly to get full flavor. It's 1 packet per 4 ounces of water. It has a sweet, milky taste with the slightest acidity, almost fruity, but not enough to make it sour. And of course, pleasant depth from the tea flavor. I was actually worried the milk flavor would taste artificial or be very weak, but it tasted like I actually put milk in it!I'd say it's a little sweet for me. I may mix it with a hot cup of either weak or normal black tea instead of water. It's a little pricey for the amount you get, but that's the way things go with imported goods. All in all, I highly recommend it for a special tea treat!

You will need to double it for a regular cup.
The serving size per packet is 120ml. The directions are in Japanese, but the illustrations on the back do include 120ml. 120 ml is about 4oz of water, or 1/2 cup, and I thought the tea flavor was a little weak. This is a bit small, even for a teacup-sized portion which is usually 5-6 oz. The flavor was fine, and if you do the math, it comes out to be about $1 per 8oz cup of tea. (I bought a 2 pack for $10)If you make your own tea at home, I'd recommend making plain tea at regular strength and then adding the packet instead of sweetener. It enhances the tea more than it replaces it.
