I had to redo my review to 5 stars. I bought these because they were adjustable 6 months ago. I took all the extra fill that came with them and shoved them in the pillows because I like firm. They were way to firm but I kept thinking they would smash down like all other pillows,...they did not.Fast forward 6 months they still are way to firm and I forgot they were adjustable. That is easy to do because the zipper is very tiny and hidden. I seemed to recall they were adjustable in month 5 and briefly looked for the zippers but didn't find the zipper!!!So I went back to my goose down pillows that these Enerplex pillows replaced. Then last week my wife pointed out to me that I wasn't using the new pillows anymore. I told her after 6 months of uncomfortable kinked necks I'm done with them. She reminded me they were adjustable. I told her I thought so too but theres no zipper (completely forgetting I used the zipper to fill them when I bought them 6 months ago). She re-found the zipper. I'm such an idiot! So I pulled 25% of the fill out, redistributed what was left and these Enerplex pillows went from horribly firm and tall to the most comfortable pillows I have ever used. No kidding! We had enough stuffing left over to stuff inside some cheaper pillows we were going to throw away and now those cheap pillows are super comfortable.Don't be stupid and waste 6 months of your life with uncomfortable sleep people, DON'T FORGET TO ADJUST THE PILLOW FILL AMOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I think if I had not placed the extra fill in originally I would not have had this issue btw. DOH!

T-H-I-C-C! That's the best way to describe these pillows.I bought the pillows to fill two shams, and to use when guests come to my house. After seeing how comfy these are, I actually considered using them when I sleep nightly vs. just using them as sham stuffers.Each pillow arrives with extra filling. I chose to use the extra filling in both pillows because why not? One of the pillows expanded extremely well while the other had a little dip in the middle. I tried fluffing it on my own, tugging at the filling, and tossing the pillow in the dryer but unfortunately, I think that's just the way this one is going to stay. It's more annoying than anything else (just knowing that dip in the middle is there). The pillow still feels just as comfortable as the other one though.I've attached photos of these memory foam pillows next to my old Serta ones. Admittedly, the Serta pillows have flattened over the years. I don't remember them ever being as thick as these memory foam ones though.The pillows are both very heavy too, which is partially why I returned them. I'm just used to more lightweight pillows, not pillows that make me feel like I'm lifting weights whenever I move them around. This experience showed me that I actually don't prefer memory foam pillows and instead plush ones are better for me.Other factors that led to me returning these pillows:-A warning I saw in a previous review about harmful chemicals in them-The pillows have a slight odor but it's nothing that'll make you feel dirty or anything-Previous reviews also said these shouldn't be washed in the washer because they take forever to dry and the foam expands; I like washing and drying my pillows at home and don't want to have to deal with thatOverall, these are thick, heavy, and may be right for you. If you're used to more lightweight, plush pillows that are easy to toss in the washer and dryer, these probably won't work for you.

I am writing a lengthy review because I read so many that I believe were not accurate and it almost deterred me from buying. I am SO glad I listened to the good reviews because I am thrilled with this product!I have used feather pillows my entire life because I like to adjust the fill and provide proper support for my neck. I rotate from back to side sleeping, so pillow maneuverability is important to me. I have several back injuries, from fractures to whiplash, nerve damage, the whole gamut. These pillows come with an insane amount of fill! So much so, that I took probably 1/3 to 1/2 out to get to my desired thickness after testing out for a few weeks.I found these pillows after buying the EnerPlex body pillow at Christmas time - which I LOVE! They were out of stock on king size bed pillows and I checked back regularly to find them in stock. I couldn't believe how cheap they were, considering my down pillows were more than twice as much for just one, and this was a pack of two!The fill on my body pillow had no odor, especially after putting my case on it, so I could use it immediately. The bed pillows did have an odor strong enough that I didn't want to use them right away from the fill material. I just unboxed them and let them air out for 2 days and then they were odor free and ready to sleep on.For care, the cover comes off for washing and held up well on low heat dry cycle in dryer.I really can't recommend these pillows enough. They come very compressed in a small box and when they unroll, just fluff with hands and allow the air in your room to do the rest. Be patient. Within about 15-30 min of doing nothing at all to them, they will fully rise to their thickness. You can go from extremely full pillow to very flat for preference easily by just removing the fill to your liking. I saved my extra filling and filled other throw pillows I had that were zippered and now have much more comfortable throws too!

Im a larger person and am rough on body pillows. They tend to go flat within 6 months give or take. I bought this pillow and 2 others (one for head, and 2 for rotation with body while cleaning) I have animals who sleep with me who also wear on pillows. I got multiple pillowcases and water proof ones so i could spare the pillows themselves a washing as long as possible. (Hypoallergenic as well as waterproof.)The other two pillows have been tossed but this pillow is still kicking, still my body pillow and is just Now starting to flatten in the middle.If your hard on pillows and find yourself replacing them often do yourself a favor and splurge on this. I promise its worth it! Im about to get my 2nd since this one is finally wanting a break! I love it!And when i say larger im 6ft and over 250, female, and it still gives room between my legs to miss chaffing.
