Received the product in good condition. It smells just like honey. I really love it. I used it in my homemade kajal and vaseline and it turned out great. It didn't cause any allergic reaction to the eyes and the skin. I found so many people complaining that it doesn't melt. Mix it with a carrier oil in a cup, keep it in boiling water which is less than the cup's height and the flame should be on till the wax melts completely. If you're using it for kajal, then very tiny quantity is needed so, place all the ingredients including the wax in the container in which the kajal is going to be stored and keep that container in the boiling water(the flame should be on) and mix everything together until the wax melts. Hope this helps.

I make lip balms with this unrefined beeswax. The balm makes the lips hydrated for a longer time when made with right recipe.

Was wrapped in butter paper and weighed 110 grams - so you don't have to worry about the wax weighing less (keeping 10 grams' margin for the wrapper). It's a natural yellow in colour so I'm hoping that it's genuine beeswax. Unfortunately, the wax smells weird, like Patanjali's Divya Kesh Tel. I checked the internet, which said that natural beeswax's smell varies from strong earthy to mild, sweet honey-like to unscented for refined/processed beeswax. So taking this smell to be the strong earthy one (probably had the hive burnt to extract the honey or wax), I'm willing to try it for creams. In case it doesn't work I'll make candles out of it. Will update the review after giving it a try. Keeping fingers crossed! UPDATE: I tried to make a balm out of it, using beeswax and coconut oil. Since I didn't know the proportion (I used a pinch), I got a gel-like consistency. I used it in a homemade body butter, too. While the thing works, it stiffens the butter quite a bit so try avoiding it during winters. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the product. And yes, do be careful while trying to chop it down into pieces - it's a little hard. But it'll last real long.
