Schleich Dinosaurs, Jurassic Era Velociraptor Dinosaur Toys for Boys and Girls, Dilophosaurus Toy Figure, Ages 4+

Kinda small but my grandson loves it and that’s all that matters.

I was born in the 80s, and we didn't have dinosaur toys that looked this good when I was a kid. The legs aren't articulated, but that's probably why this thing looks so great. The pose is very lifelike, and the details are incredible. I bought this for my nephew when he was 3, and he loved it. Now he's obsessed with Legos, but it still looks great sitting on his shelf, and it will continue to look great for years to come. It's a solid purchase as a toy and as a decorative piece. I highly recommend any models that Schleich makes - their attention to detail is impeccable.

Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old dinosaur loving grandson. After he learned from his dinosaur book that Pachycephalosauruses have bony heads that they use to butt things, he wanted one. Since getting it, he has been butting everything (grandpa, tables, rocks, other dinosaurs) with that dinosaur head and the pachy seems to be holding up. All of the Schleich figurines are very detailed and solidly made.

This is my kiddo's new favorite toy. It is well made and durable. I have to had to scrub it down a few times (kids) and the paints holds just fine. I love that it is in an action pose too.

If you child is passionate about learning and playing with dinosaurs like figures I would only recommend this brand. The colors and details on each piece is incomparable. It is not the typical toy that will be played with, then tossed in the garbage because it was cheaply made. This can be kept over the years and passed on to your other children or grand children for that matter. (I would recommend for children 3 years and above.)

Schleich dinosaurs are just made well. Plain and simple. The design of them is always top notch, with a realistic design, that is made to last. The coloring is always great with such accuracy, and even though it may peel slightly after a lot of rough play, the next layer of color just shows through a little. It doesn’t usually peel off in big chunks or anything, just tiny areas because they are hand painted. True works of art. These are shipped as just the dinosaur with a tag, but they ship fine. With all that being said, I’m not as big a fan of this dinosaur as I am many of their others in this toy line. I’m not sure if it’s the dinosaur itself, the pose, or what but it just seems......okay. Don’t get me wrong, the quality is still there, but the overall package, while being better than comparable toys is better than the competition, just fell short. Still a quality toy with great detailing that you may enjoy, but a rare 4 star Schleich product review from me.

Perfect gift for a student who is crazy about dinosaurs. Well designed and built, sturdy, stands upright rather than tipping over.
