Should i notice a difference between when noise canceling on and off? because i don’t hear a difference. i can still hear outside noise.

It is a little tricky. the headphones have a series of buttons on the right side. The button that has NC\AMB printed on it controls the noise cancelling feature. Push once and you will hear, "ambient sound". Push again and you will hear "ambient sound control off". Push a third time and you will hear, "noise canceling". After the third time you push the button on the right side wait for 2 or 3 seconds and you should hear the NC kick in. Took me a while to figure this out for my self.

The multipoint function of the headphones is designed to allow you to connect 2 Bluetooth devices to the headset and use one device for music playback (A2DP connection) and the other for calls (HFP/HSP connection). Unfortunately, it doesn't have a [Connect to 2 devices simultaneously] function which allows you to do the following: -Waiting for an incoming call for 2 smartphones You can listen to music played on one smartphone with the headset, wait for an incoming call for both smartphones, and talk if an incoming call arrives. -Switching music playback between 2 devices You can switch the music playback from one device to the other without performing a Bluetooth reconnection. This particular function is only supported on the Sony WH1000XM4 headphones. ~Ralph

F...what? “Ordinary phone calls,” as in, with a landline phone from before the most recent Ice Age — ‘cause no “smartphone apps,” which is what smartphones use, to make literal 21st Century phone calls, to other smartphones and landlines... The lack of PlayStation support (not meaning PS3, ‘cause talkin’ to oneself, given the complete lack of multiplayer support, without hacking it and connecting to private servers, to play games such as blur, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2, LBP 3, and etc. ... ) is already a dealbreaker, considering that there are a lot of headphones that are as good, have removable/retractable microphones, connect to PS4/PS5, XB1/Series S/X, Switch, and PC—via Bluetooth and/or Optical, as opposed to connected by cord to a controller — plus Bluetooth to connect to any smartphone (and its apps), and are in the same price range. Only ordinary phone calls, though? Dang. They look really nice, especially in the Amazon Blue, though!
