5-Minute Sketching -- Architecture: Super-Quick Techniques for Amazing Drawings
B**.
Arrived on World Bookday 7th March 2019. Amazing!
By page eight I could not resist, so I grabbed a ball point pen & started sketching, the book inspires you to do that. Most other books bore or scare you in their first few pages with what equipment you need and the vast number of mediums out there to buy.

Wonderful Book
First off, this book is beautifully made. The paper and binding and lay out are superb. But secondly, Liz has a wonderful technique for sketching that works and is able to translate this simply in an inspiring way. This book is jam packed and I’m left believing as an artist and as a teacher Liz is authentic and generous and has really shared her expertise, holding nothing back. I really love this book. This is a must have and I know I will return to it often, for reference, long after I’ve finished it.

Handy reference guide which is a quick read
I'm an illustrator and not really a sketcher, but I still found that some of the pointers in this reference guide were useful in providing a different perspective on art. Liz teaches you about what is and isn't important when looking at a scene or reference, and what you should be focusing on when drawing. For experienced artists, the tips probably won't mean much and won't change your approach, but I think the guide can serve as a nice, quick read to serve as a refresher at times. The book is definitely more catered to beginners. If you can get it on sale, it's really not too bad of a reference guide to have around.
