ChacoMen's MEGA Z Cloud Sport Sandal

B**.
Chaco Mega Z Cloud sandals are comfortable, long wearing, and work great!
I’ve worn Chaco sandals since 1989 and they are the sandals I wear all Spring, Summer, and Fall. Chaco’s are what I’ve worn on every river trip since 1989. They are rugged, have great traction while scouting rapids or hiking up side canyons. The snug fit and superior strap design works so well that they stayed on my feet during a number of nasty swims in rapids (some mostly underwater in violent and powerful hydraulics). The soles last a long time and I’ve never worn them out even after many miles. If you wear out the straps you can send them to Chaco to be repaired. Recently I needed surgeries on my right ankle that forever changed my ankle and even the size of my foot. In past years I wore Chaco sandals with a toe loop (Z-2) but bought the model without a toe loop (Z-1) so it would fit properly. The Mega Z Cloud sandals I bought have wider straps than the regular model. They are comfortable and give great support. The models without the toe loop allow you to wear socks for warmth, which is nice during colder nights on the river in Spring and Fall. I can whole-heartedly recommend Chaco sandals, which are recommended by many foot doctors too. Chaco’s are the only sandals I wear! They work so well I don’t need any other sandals!

My second pair!
Bought these Chacos on advice from a friend, as we do a lot of outdoor hiking and walking in warm climates. I wasn't crazy about the look of the cross-straps at first, but the comfort, support and stability these provide more than make up for the style preference. I wore my first pair completely out, but only after 2 years of hard use! The newer models have wider straps, which are even more comfortable (and a little better looking, IMHO). I've tried other sandals, and other Chaco models, and haven't kept any of them. I guess this is the best fit for me that I've found... Highly recommended.

Comfortable
They look kinda retro on my big feet. Feels great. Support is spot on. I am a white water kayaker. I love these things. The ONLY downside is that the tread pattern will "grab" and retain small stones. So, some care is needed to avoid scratching hardwood etc. floors. That said, I bought a second pair and tossed the rest of my sandals.

Nice
Chacos are great, but they're not built for my feet. High quality, just not for me.

Fully adjustable with GREAT arch support
If you have high arches and feel like sport sandals never have any arch support try these! I was a die hard fan of another brand since the 90s but randomly decided to try these and I am a convert. I love these. So comfortable and all the strap loops are one big long ribbon so everything is fully adjustable. Perfect fit and Comfortable right out of the box!

Fantastic
I use these for rucking (walking with weight in a backpack). They have excellent traction on all surfaces, great support, and obviously high quality construction. They allow you to continue walking in comfort as your feet swell after many miles under weight. One of my friends did a 50-miler in these and was very impressed--which is why several people in our group had to buy them.
