Great set of bowls, bought a set for family too and he loved them.

For the price, ceramic would have been a bit more justifiable however I live in a house hold with young kids one who has Austism and likes to smash things so plastic isn't the most terrible idea. They seem sturdy enough and I liked the fact they come with the ladel. They hold a nice amount of food and has the cut outs which make it easier to drink the broth if thays what you're having. I'll upgrade to ceramic I'm time but for now these are perfect 👌

I love my new Asian dinner set, they are a great size, have a fantastic built-in chopsticks holder, the chopsticks are good quality, they are attractive, functional, and I really enjoy eating from them

Good quality. Nice size (large). Bonus chop sticks and spoons. Will use lots. Had hoped for strong bright red, but more of a terracotta colour. Pitfalls of online shopping. Will keep as other than not being bright red, very happy and will use lots...

The bowls are huge, could use as a fruit bowl. The spoons are horrible, they have sharp lips and cut the inside of my mouth. The chopsticks are chopsticks. For the price I would expect better. And I would never expect to buy cutlery that is so sharp it CUTS YOUR MOUTH . . . . Other than a knife, but what uncivilized idiot would put a knife in their mouth?

Just what we needed for those asian raman and pho soups.

I bought this set purely for the bowls, the chopsticks and soup spoons are a very nice bonus. Everything has a very nice feel to them, and is very light yet sturdy. Easy to clean due to the material, and very versatile as to what it can hold.

I know this and all the similar items specifically talk about how big the bowls are, but like... they're so big. I saw the unboxing videos and I saw the pictures, but it just didn't make sense to me how big they are until I had them. That said, I wanted some big damn ramen bowls, and that's exactly what I got. This wildly compressed version of melamine is amazing, and I want everything in my kitchen made of either that or silicone. They're gorgeous AND the chopsticks are the same material (family members are prone to biting into wooden ones, then leaving them in water in the sink, which ruins them).I hemmed and hawed over this decision because I DID want more ornate ones, something with more of a pattern or whatever; these won out because the cost as well as the chopstick divots at the top of the bowl. The cost difference isn't that high, so we can call that a non-issue for people who are less stingy than I am, but the chopstick divots feel like a game-changer. They just sit perfectly, while leaving NO extra schmutz on the table (my family members put them on the divots while they still have broth on them, making the outside of the bowl dirty, but I prefer that to just willy-nilly chopstick marks all over the place).I don't know, it feels odd to explicitly describe why certain bowls are cool, but they're super cool and I love them.
