I have several different kinds of pain and I am currently going to a pain management clinic trying to get help. I have tried many things over the years in an effort to find something - anything - that would actually work to provide pain relief for chronic migraines, arthritis, degenerative disc disease in my spine, neuropathy, etc. I have tried many topical creams, including creams with 4% lidocaine and one prescribed by my doctor, but I'm always searching for something else that is better. I found this cream on Amazon and decided to try it out. I have been more than pleasantly surprised by how well it works. I mostly use it on my neck (where I recently had a cervical fusion), my lumbar spine, and my hands for the arthritis. I can't tell you how long it lasts because I haven't timed it, but I can tell you that it does help me and it does provide pain relief. In all honesty, it's more efficacious than I expected it to be, so this was a very happy surprise. My husband has psoriatic arthritis and I will be giving him some to try, as well. I would definitely tell you that if you have pain issues, it's worth a try.

The smell is STRONG, my husband did not like to sit next to me while I had this cream on my skin, also you can not eat anything right after you put this cream on as you will just taste the strong smell., BUT it does help the relieve the pain ... after you put it on the skin will get very cold and then it numbs away the pain. I wish there was a cream without this horrible smell...

This works really well. I use it every night on my worn out knees and when I skip using it I wake up several times during the night with my knees hurting me but when I use it before I go to bed I can usually sleep thru the night without my knees killing me

My friend rave about your ointment. I got it for my husband who has aches and pains in his hand and knees. He tried it but the smell was so strong I did not want it on y bed clothes. It made my bedroom smell like a hospital. Sorry. That's just my quirk. It did help the pain in my husband hands. That's why I gave it a three star review, that and the fact it maybe should be put in a pump dispenser it's so thin.

I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis about a year ago. The condition is in the left side of my right knee. It came on suddenly and was extremely painful. The doctor injected cortisone in the area that stopped the pain for about a month. Then it returned and i've been limping sometimes badly since. I tried several types of arthritis rubs that worked somewhat initially, but would eventually stop helping. So I would rotate the rubs/cremes I used. Doing so helped but I kept searching for something better. That's when I happened upon the Amish Cream. From the very first application I had huge relief from my pain! The cooling sensation that first happens feels so good. I can walk without a serious limp now! I put it on my lower back for sciatica and have had no pain there in 2 days! I also rub it on my achilles tendons because they hurt but not anymore! If anyone wonders if there is a wonder cream in a jar, get this product! I'm so grateful I ordered it. And I sincerely hope this product will always be available.

Easy to apply and works well for knee and leg pain. I ordered another yesterday and a different product came called recovery pain, but it has the same 8% menthol that the original has, so I will use this one and hopefully the next one will be the same as I ordered 4 star reason: The only thing I notice a lot is they keep raising the price on this and every time I brose through the pain items, there is always ones a lot cheaper to purchase. I like this cream, but if it keeps going up, I will have to buy from someone else

This cream is the exact Amish product that I had previously purchased in the USA that I can not buy in Canada. This cream is the exact same and it says on the bottle ...... Amish Pain Cream. This is fast acting as it says and is greaseless. I like this product because it is fast acting and sometimes I use it 3 times a day but usually twice. It works for me and I like it.
