Steel 26 Spline Clutch Alignment Tool

This is the ultimate alignment tool. Incredibly tight fit in clutch disc splines and exact measurements on input shaft tip for my M23 Super Muncie. The plastic tool that comes with most clutches is horrible for these - way too much slop. Highly recommended in order to get the clutch discs (single or dual) lined up to ease the transmission install.

Works 10x better to properly align the clutch disks and pressure plate. The cheap, short plastic ones that comes in most clutch kits are next to worthless.

I ordered this to align my McLeod twin disc clutch. It worked perfectly. Nice quality piece that will last my lifetime.

Much better than the low dollar plastic tool. The spline engagement is great but the fit in the pilot bushing isn’t as tight as the input shaft, which is critical with TKO 600 install. The input shaft has to go in dead center. This required multiple in and out fitting with the tool till it slid in without catching on the pilot bearing. This is where the steel construction paid off as the flimsy plastic tool would have impacted the accuracy. Of note, this tool is black, not silver- which is fine by me.

This tool is way better than the plastic alignment tool most clutch manufacturers send you. Just line up the clutch and make sure the tool slides in and out and then bolt down the pressure plate and you are all good. It’s now used by most of my guys in the shop.

I'd tried the plastic one that came with my clutch but that didn't work and I couldnt fit my transmission. Got this one for a much better fit, and the transmission slid straight on. Don't even bother with the plastic one!!

Way stronger and a more accurate fit when installing your clutch compared to the plastic tool. Seller shipped it very quickly.
