Amazing pigment. I wish when I started watercolor I didn’t listen to the YouTube creators that said get a cheap pan of paints. All it caused was frustration I could not get the color depth I wanted. I spent more money testing paints when if I would have just picked one of the top few. The quality is top notch!

Beautiful selection of watercolors in a very beautiful box with a porcelain watercolor tray, the selection of colors are very stunning. The watercolors are very pigmented and smooth to use and a very good selection of different colors to choose from. This is a very high quality product for any professional artist. They are very expensive but you can see why.

Creamy, vibrant, stunning high quality paints! The color selection in this palette is exceptional. I like This paint for so many reasons, but briefly, I love that you can paint thick and bold, or translucent and dreamy and all sorts of inbetween and have stable consistent lasting color. If you like to paint on trips, vacations, or visits to the park, you will have every color you need and several convenience colors to paint with, including flesh tones. The palette tin is the same as the Sennelier tin of 48 paints. I sand down the sharp edges with sand paper, and I don't rely on the clips to hold the paints in. I add magnets to the bottoms of the pans. I write the color name and brand name on the pans in black sharpie. This way I can use my favorite paints in a smaller tin if I have need of a smaller palette. Adding magnets does add some weight to the palette. Overall, this paint is worth the cost. A little really does go a long way. If you buy it use it, don't treat it precious and be afraid to have fun with it. The only wasted art tool is one that is not used and life is just too short to have things that bring you joy and not use them.

High qualityWonderful colors

The colors are fantastic and perfect quality and I love unwrapping the individual colors. The container holding the paints easily lifts out (but not too easily where it all falls).

I’m giving one star for the customer service and three stars for the product itself, because the quality of these paints truly is exceptional. However, I was really excited to finally order this palette after saving up for it, and I specifically chose it for the colors listed on the box. Unfortunately, two of the shades I was most looking forward to—229 and 661—were missing and replaced with others.For a premium brand like Schmincke, I expected more accurate fulfillment and better quality control. It’s disappointing to now have to spend extra to get the two colors I originally wanted. This experience has definitely taken away some of the joy I felt when ordering the set.

Excelentes acuarelas

Im a professional artist. I have used SCHMINKE WC for 30 years. Love their intensity, pureness and transparency. Especially in the cadmium colors. Love their cad orange. The colbalt blue has less gum arabic in it which gives it better flow than many other WC brands. Easy to purchase replacement chips. The pallette tin is great for traveling. It is pricey but well worth the quality of pigment. I highly recommend it.
