Cons: Buyer Beware! The size of this is extremely misleading (especially considering it's price). If you don't read carefully, you'll get a shock when it arrives - as the diameter of the container is barely over an inch. Shocking... I know. Frustrating, as the pictures make it look much bigger - likely on purpose. For me, this barely lasted 10 days - but I do have a toothbrush with a slightly larger head (a Radius).Spitting in your sink will become a messy looking, dirty, filthy mess. Better get used to it. Oh well.Be prepared - you also won't get a lather using any tooth powder. That's just how it is. I didn't find hard to get used to, but some people might.The cost is outrageous for what you get. This should be marketed as a SAMPLE size. Unfortunately they charge so much for it, that likely wouldn't fly. I suggest ordering the larger size, even if you've never tried it before. Way better value for your dollar (though still $$$).Pros: so I still gave this product 4 stars... how come? Well, because once you get past the stupid cost, you find it's actually quite GOOD. The Spearmint here tastes superb (compared to many other tooth powders I've tried) with just the right amount of sweetness and minty flavor. Bravo. Was expecting more of a "dirt" tinge to it. There wasn't at all.I also believe it has the best combo of non-toxic and beneficial ingredients. Most "normal" pastes (even the fancy natural ones) have objectable ingredients if you look closely. This tooth powder does not have any, quite the opposite in fact.It also leaves my teeth feeling really cleaned - yet without the hyper-slickness of pastes that use glycerin (ie. most of them). This is actually another good thing, as it allows your oral microbiome to do what's it's naturally supposed to do. I appreciate a tooth product that honestly tries to help me, instead of hinder.Does it whiten? It's not particularly marketed with that feature. But I'd say that it does a fairly good job anyway. I've noticed a gradually lightened shade over the first few months of using it. Nothing crazy, but noticeable.Does it remineralize? It's probably smarter to assume that it won't - but I've heard the developer on a podcast, and she sounded pretty convincing. So then... if it happens to reverse caries over the long haul, then I'll consider it a huge bonus. Here's hoping.

I originally bought the sweet bubble gum flavor for my 3 children. 2 of them really like the bubble gum flavor but the other one HATES it. So I ordered the sweet orange sample size for him. It arrived on time today and he was excited to try it out. He likes the orange flavor a lot more and asked for the bigger sized container. It's a bit pricey compared to other tooth powders but Primal Organics seems to have more flavors than the other brands and I like the quality. We do not use fluoride and finding a fluoride free toothpaste without sugar that cleans our teeth well the kids will actually use is almost next to impossible. We have been using Primal Organics tooth powder for a few months now. Our teeth and mouths are much cleaner. It's like having a "just cleaned by the dentist" clean feeling every day without the neurotoxins and X-ray radiation.

I got this for my son as I already use the spearmint, peppermint, and charcoal tooth powder from this company. He was not a fan and did not want to brush his teeth. At first I thought it was just due to changing from natural toddler toothpaste to this powder version... until I tried it...oh my, lol. This was ruff, even for me, I spit it out. It is more of a weird flowery taste. Hard to even describe but just know it is nothing like bubble gum, at all. Sucks that for its price, it won't be used by anyone in our home. It was like spraying a flowery aerosol spray in your mouth. I love the company and have three other flavors, gum serum, tooth picks, they have great ingredients...but, I can't lie, this was a far cry from bubblegum.

To give a little bit of background, I have sensitive gums. I have buildup on the top of my teeth that seems to never go away- even after dentist visits. I regularly bleed when I brush my teeth, and I was hoping to find something that whitens and helps my sensitivity.I couldn't help but laugh when I got my package today. It was a huge bubble envelope, with the tiniest little container in it. The container is tiny, guys. It seriously didn't take hardly any of the powder at all, though.Speaking of container, it would be nice for it to be less messy. I hate being wasteful, and there was the tiniest bit of powder in the groves of the top that spilled out on the counter. Given that it's black... it wasn't the easiest to clean up. So something to keep in mind. I wet my toothbrush, dipped it in the powder, and that's what I used. I thought that it wouldn't be enough.. but it completely coated my teeth without any issues. Seeing my teeth turn black was the strangest thing. The taste wasn't horrible, but don't expect it to taste like regular toothpaste. Not having a lather during brushing was different for sure. Once I rinsed, I ran my tongue over my teeth... WOAH! Guys, this is the real deal. I smiled in the mirror and my teeth already looked better and no blood. The first time brushing and I already feel SUCH a difference. I can't stop running my tongue over my teeth. I'm sold. I have been searching for a natural alternative to toothpaste, because other natural products have done me so well, and I have found it.

I bought this for my 4 year old to try as we have been looking for a healthy and safe tooth cleaner that doesn't contain glycerin and can help remineralize teeth. When ordering I gave him the choice of trying bubblegum or orange and he chose bubblegum. Let's just say this tastes nothing like bubblegum whatsoever. It has a strong eucalyptus taste and only a tiny hint of sweetness. My son would not let me brush his teeth with this and spit it out immediately. Even I don't think I'll use it often because it doesn't taste good at all. Glad I only got the small jar. It does make your teeth feel clean and smooth though. I wanted this to be our Holy Grail tooth cleaning product but this flavor is not pleasant in the slightest. Perhaps we'll give the orange a try, because I really do like the idea of the product, it just needs major improvement in this flavor.
