Excellent sounding and capable speakers when driven by the proper 4-channel amp with frequency and gain control. I didn't end up using the x-overs in this kit but they're nice and certainly a big benefit to anyone with a 2-channel amp. I'd buy this kit again ... and maybe I WILL if I could be certain the 6 1/2" speakers would fit behind my factory speaker covers of my front doors. Hold up fine under high demand but don't expect just 4 speakers to carry ALL the load.. that's just silly. I have 3 subs and 14 other speakers in total, a proper system in my opinion, especially if you want full range sound, at high quality even at low volumes :-)

Volevo esattamente questo sistema per completare l'impianto in macchina, ho una macchina particolare ed ho utilizzato la stessa serie ma ovale per il retro/sub. Erano introvabili perchè uscite di produzione, fortunatamente mi sono accaparrato l'ultimo pezzo! SPETTACOLARI! Qualità del suono eccellente, basta guardare le dimensioni dei magneti e confrontarle con le serie più nuove per capire che negli anni sono andati verso prodotti più cheap, ahimè. Purtroppo non penso siano prodotti che attraggono molta gente ormai! Sarà dura trovare sostituti decenti in futuro!

Like other JBL products the highs are not TOO bright but just enough to let you know it’s there. The selectable frequencies (I.e bass, mid, treble) are mellow, not over the top; bleeding into other frequencies causing a muddy, bass lacking, muffed sound. The power rating is very conservative yet forgiving. Perfect for upgrading your factory speakers. You won’t loose clarity with these as it doesn’t require wattage in extreme excess of a factory radio. However, louder with amplified power. The sweet spot for these is 75-90 watts. The passive crossover will rob some of the wattage so it’s best to be mindful if buying these in addition to an aftermarket amplifier. They have a +3 or 0db option. 0db works fine and balances the time alignment just right between the woofer and tweeter. I do not recommend these in union with a crazy 3k watt subwoofer set up. You can, but you will loose clarity, depth and sharpness. This is a really killer of a set for someone looking for a factory looking install with a crisp, clean, and deep sounding musicals.

The sound quality is very good, with punchy bass and clear sound — I really love it. However, when I use it without the component crossover, the sound becomes normal. But when I connect it with component crossover the sound quality improve, high renge sound and low reng sound comes separately, which feel excited the sound. the sound becomes powerful and lively. Sound is good with tight bass. Its very good speaker with good quality. Go for it without any doubt.its very best in car speaker segment 👌
