Great Finish and Seamless Look
I used this aluminum LED channel kit to install LED strips in my kitchen ceiling, and the final result looks incredibly professional. The diffused covers do a great job softening the light, eliminating any visible LED dots, and giving off a smooth, clean glow. Once mounted into the drywall, the channels sit flush and nearly disappear, creating a high-end, built-in look.Installation was straightforward, and the pieces were easy to cut to size. The sturdy aluminum construction provides excellent support and heat dissipation for the strips. Good quality, Look good, lot's of work to finish cleanly.
Pretty good quality and price, just be ready to spend the time on the install. Would be better if they were a bit more flush mounting as you do have to build up the mud around them more than expected. Look great when finished.

This has appeared to work well but only time will tell. I set 3 2x4’s side by side to set the channels in so I can screw the dry wall to studs. 2x4’s need to be set fairly perfectly because if one is deeper than the others, the channel will distort when tightening screws. Not enough provided screws, no where close, I bought a bunch more. I feel using the provided drywall anchors would be a mistake because the offset would cause a visible hump when mudding in. Also, good luck getting them to line up. It has occurred to me that the small gap between the channel lip and wings may not be deep enough. You can barely get enough mud over the screw heads. I’m worried the screw heads will start to show over time. And that is why you definitely don’t want to use the drywall anchors; I guarantee the mud over the screw heads will pop out. I have not completed the project yet so I can’t say anything about the effectiveness of the diffuser strip. I have light strips with led’s that are very close together so it should be fine. I will update later.
