It's a solid game, but shipping standards may cause problems for collectors
It's Dragon quest, not much more to say. Though if you're a collector I'd probably go elsewhere because they just slap a label on the game and ship it, might be part of why it's returned often.

Goo for it!
Goo for it! What a great game. Even though it’s the European version, no problems playing it on my US console.

Dirt Smudge substance covering the plastic cover
Package arrived earlier than its delivery time dated, although the plastic was covered in smudge but the package itself was in excellent condition and the game disc did not have a single scratch/ smudge on it. I give 5 stars.

One of The Best Game Ever Made!
I am couple years late to this game but boy was I glad I picked it up! By the time I finished the game, I have clocked over 200 hours and THAT is me playing it with a guide! The plot starts out simple and at one point, I even thought how predictable this is. So glad I was wrong!! The way the plot were set up lay out lot of surprise when you revisit the same people/village later on the game. Without spoiling the plot, this game does not end when you defeat the final boss, in fact, the game has so much going on, I could not put it down. The battle system is simple and fun. Though it's repetitive but I am totally fine with it. This game is amazing and everyone owe themselves playing through it at least once!

Game not bad. Also like the option that you can change the game play from 3D to old school 2D.

This may be a port of the Switch version but that’s not to say it isn’t worth it. It very much is. It has over 100 quality of life improvements from the original PS4 game, some more noticeable than others. It’s got the orchestral version of the soundtrack. a Japanese voice acting option, you can speed up battles, you can forge anywhere, costumes (of which there are even more) aren’t tied to your armour slots, and theres a 2D mode. Plus trophies that the Switch version didn’t have. And extra story content. And that’s for starters. They weren’t kidding when they said it’s the definitive edition. This is not just some DLC they could have sent out through an update. This is an overhaul. The only negative is the fact that the graphics have been downgraded somewhat because it’s a port of the Switch version. But the positives far outweigh that one negative. And it’s not even that noticeable after a while. All in all, it’s a fantastic JRPG. One of the best I’ve ever played. It’s well worth getting. Even if you’ve played it before on Switch. And even if you’ve played the original, because you should notice all the quality of life changes immediately. But if you haven’t played it before (or haven’t played an RPG before), it’s a chill game with a fairy tale story. And yes it has turn based battles, but don’t let the fact it’s turn based put you off. I like to think of it as a chance to think and strategise without feeling too much pressure. Although you can turn up the battle speed if you wish. And make your teammates auto battle (which I recommend, their AI is pretty smart. Especially when you choose the option to fight smart), and there are options to make the game more difficult before you start, if you don’t want it to be too easy. Although even on the default difficulty there are certain bosses that might trip you up. But that’s to be expected. I could go on but I’ll end it like this. If you want even more information on this game, please check out the video reviews of Tim Rogers on YouTube on the Kotaku channel. He reviewed the original and the definitive edition for Switch. He’s quite the eccentric wordsmith but he’s worth listening to more than I am. The vanilla version was my first Dragon Quest game (although I have since finished the Switch one), he lives and breathes Dragon Quest.
