Q: Would this fit the 15" Surface Book 3 in the laptop compartment?

I have a Surface Pro 6 and it fits in the sleeve pocket, with a little bit of space left on the sides (about an inch) and above (about an inch and a half).

Q: I'm wondering how generous the laptop pocket is. i have a 2018 13-inch macbook pro, which is only 15mm thick and 212mm wide. will it rattle around?

I have a 13 inch Microsoft Surface laptop, It fixs very well into the pocket without sleeve. The pocket construction will not allows the laptop to rattle around, it will not fix in if you have the sleeve on. I took this bag with me for downhill (on a downhill bike) in Chiang Mai Thailand, with my laptop in it, work perfectly.
