Does exactly what it's supposed to do - would recommend
Does it's job very well. Good value for the money, very easy to clean. Once it's put together, which took a bit due to all the nuts and washers, it is really easy to use. It fits a full block of tofu, and probably could fit 2 if I needed to. It leaves an imprint on the block of tofu that's the design of the plastic, but that's not an issue for me. Will probably last a long time.

Works, but a bit tedious to use
It gets the job done and squeezes water out of tofu, but each time you use it, the process is a bit annoying. You have to unscrew the sides so it's wide enough to put tofu in, then screw it tighter. Wait a bit, then unscrew it again. The whole screwing process is just very slow.

The best tool since the potato masher!!!
I love tofu and would have eaten it more often if I didn’t have to press it between a plate and a heavy pot on a cutting board…what a hassle and disaster waiting to happen! Being able to easily get rid of the water in such a short time make the preparation faster. This tofu press is worth its weight in gold!!!

Awkward and takes up too much space
It takes forever to screw the bolts on, and if you want to pressure tofu in the fridge overnight, it takes up half a shelf in the fridge because the bolts are so long. Then you have to take the whole thing apart to clean it. I ended up buying a different type of tofu press. This was a waste of money and ended up in the recycle bin.

It works for this price
I wasn't convinced the other type of tofu pressers (with clip on sides) would work well for tofu with different sizes, so I got this. I often buy directly from a tofu maker that comes in a big rectangular blocks rather than the standard boxed type, so this presser works well for tofu with different shapes. It's quite troublesome to turn the screws, but at least it holds the pressure well. Got to be careful with not exerting too much pressure as the tofu will "crack" internally.

Great Press
I loved how I was able to press the water out of my Tofu. I froze my tofu twice to get a tougher, meatier texture. I have never been able to press the water out like this tool. Now I will marinate and prepare for a fried chicken substitute.
