Replenix 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, Advanced Acne Spot Treatment, 2 oz.

This is an excellent replacement for your tubes of Oxy 10% Maximum Strength or ZapZit or whatever brand you're used to using. It's a standard 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Cream that's very strong and effective like the name brands....but the tube is HUGE. Like the size of a smaller bottle of cleanser. This will last you forever even if you're applying it every night to a large area of your face or body as well as "spot" applications. It still dries out your skin if you use it daily and aren't moisturizing a lot....but I find it to be less irritating overall than the more expensive name brands and it's certainly just as good on breakout "zones" or huge, individual pimples. I typically apply a thin layer to the whole area (to prevent more breakouts) and rub it in until it disappears....and then just put a fairly visible "blob" on the actual pimples themselves and deal with looking a bit ridiculous going to bed with those dots on my face. But Benzoyl Peroxide IS highly effective in zapping zits fast, so you take the good with the bad. This is advertised as a "gel" however it's still a white-colored cream and will show up White on your face if you apply a heavy blob to a pimple. But it does dry a bit clearer than standard tubes and if you're applying a layer and rubbing it in, it disappears entirely and leaves very little White residue. But I would NOT classify this as a "gel" similar to the totally clear formulas. But let's face it....a big, red zit doesn't look any better around the house/going to bed than a white spot on your face does. So I'd rather be able to see that it's covered and working than guess around with totally clear gels. As always, this will stain everything and anything so use a White/Light pillowcase or one you don't care about and just be careful to wash and dry hands vigorously after application. I will definitely be buying from this family-owned company instead of the big names because I'm getting the same strength and quality for a lower price AND supporting smaller vendors. An excellent product and I do hope they make other acne products for me to dry and keep their prices this reasonable with such high quality.

I have been using this product for years and always have a back up in my bathroom cabinet. It was recommended by my dermatologist several years ago when I was experiencing lots of breakouts and now, I use it every time I need a target treatment for a problem acne area. I’m including a couple of pictures and a video to give you a more thorough look at what to expect from the product, as well as a side-by-side of the product next to a standard tube of toothpaste just to demonstrate its size. Don’t let its small size for you, this product lasts me months and is worth the money! It is SO good and it works! If you’re looking for something to treat problem breakouts, this is it! Luckily I had a big zit coming in when this arrived. I applied it so said emerging zit and by the next morning there was no sign of it at all. No redness, no inflammation or raised bump, and even better was no dryness! I do have oily skin and I do moisturize. This spot treatment is excellent and huge! As you only need a little dab this tube will last forever!! I use the body wash with BP and aloe by this company and it is a pro at eliminating my cystic backne. Very pleased!!

This product does the trick even with cystic acne. However, now that they've decided to double the cost, I'll be switching to another cost effective brand with just as much benzoyl peroxide, quality and effectiveness. Too bad that they don't know how to keep customers by increasing cost incrementally.

This is the best Benzoyl peroxide cream I've used. Up till thus point, Neutrogena Rapid Spot was the best one I've used, but Replenix shows results much faster. There were some acne spots that mostly went down, but were stubborn to go away for good (you know, that bump that's scarred and discolored, but won't pop). I started applying Replenix. They are slowly going away after the first use. Definitely effective. However, it's very drying to the skin. I've had to use less of it during the day. And at night, I make sure to use my heftier moisturizer afterwards. But it's absolutely worth it. And there's a generous amount of it in the tube.
