Q: I am 6'5" tall, with a 34 inch inseam. Will I be able to get full extension? Is this shorter, longer or the same as the 709?

I would say 6'5" with a 34" inseam would find the bike to be too small. It feels like a small to large woman's bike, in my humble opinion.

Q: Can the back be reclined to 90 degree position? Just had a hip replacement.

The backrest tilts slightly back and is fixed in that position.

Q: What is the difference between holding on the handles in front of you to holding onto the handles at your hips?

I'm not sure if there is a good or bad reason for using the different handles, but using the bars in front of you changes your position on the bike. This may cause you to put forth more effort by leaning forward adding to your workout.

Q: What are the seat dimensions, front to back.

The center of the seat measures about 12 1/4" front to back, about 16 1/2" side to side. The seat tapers from the front center down to about 8" on each side.
