Big sound for a small speaker
Great sound for its size. I would love it if it could give a bit of bass in the music (completely absent). Overall I am happy with the purchase and the delivery was fast too.

Great sound, easy to use, highly recommended
Great little portable speaker, great sound. Only a couple of small things that stop it from being 5☆ , not easy to connect to the speaker, haven't been able to use Alexa voice assistant's yet and the colour is definitely not orange more of a creamy toffee brown .Been using it now every day since I purchased it and the sound is still great, pairing with the Alexa app on my phone is quick simple and very easy to operate.5☆ for sound, ease of use and quick pairing, still not satisfied with the colour.If you're looking for a small bluetooth speaker with big sound you can't go wrong.

Excellent speaker with serious reliability issues
This is an outstanding little speaker. Its elegant design and small size belies its ability to deliver clear, impressive sound - far better than one could reasonably expect from such a small speaker. BUT it is dreadfully unreliable. I am now on my 3rd soundciip in just 5 months. The first one would not charge so I returned it after a couple of days and Amazon refunded the cost and I ordered another. The 2nd one did hold its charge and, for 3 months or so, worked perfectly. I then became increasingly difficult to switch on and off until, 10 days ago it stopped working altogether. After several fruitless attempts to raise the problem with Boompods, I spoke to Amazon who kindly refunded the purchase once more, and I ordered another which seems to be working well .... third time lucky? I have only persisted because the product itself is so good - if Boompods could resolve the reliability issues they would have a real winner on their hands.

Great little speaker, good value
Bought this for the 'Alexa enabled' function and it was rechargeable. It works fine, as described. It needed to be charged when I got it but that's it everything else worked as expected. Be aware the speaker has to be connected to a Smart comms device e.g. iPhone, iPad, Android... but once done it operated by a quick push of the rubber button and spekaing "Alexa play...". It's great just what I wanted, I'd happily purchase another.

Great little speaker
Very handy little device and a great sound. The set up instructions are dire but eventually figured it out! The colour is not bright orange, which is a shame but overall a great quality device and at a good price.

Close but no cigar.
As a speaker this works fine. Got no problem leaving it in the shower area. However, there's no volume buttons as this is controlled by the phone, which is not waterproof. Also you need to activate the app on your phone before using it. So if like me you forget, the speaker is redundant. Not quite what I was looking for.
