Sir Small and the Dragonfly

Cute Short Story
My daughter was 4 when we bought this book to encourage her to read. It's a simple and quick story with a cute twist on the getting rid of a dragon without killing him. The princess is kidnapped but the dragon has no interest in her beyond that thus the suspense of being eaten isn't really explored, so the book is nicely tame for even the most skittish of children. The story is so simple that my daughter practically memorized it after the first reading so using it as an on-going learning tool kind of backfired. But the illustrations are great and my daughter loves the concept of tiny towns and a party after an accomplishment.

Love this little book
My 2 great nephews, age 3 & 4, love to play knights and love to stop their playing to read books. This one the adults enjoy reading and they enjoy listening. It has a great little story of being brave, confident and doing good deeds no matter how small you are,

Great first grader reader
My son loved reading this book in First grade. That says a lot, since reading was not his favorite thing to do. AR level 1.7A dragon fly carries away Lady Teena from the town of Pee Wee, will sir small and his trusty ant beable able to save the day?

Beginner's reading book
Grandson loved this book--he is 5 and this level book fits his beginning skills--story quick and he can accomplish it in one sitting--not a chapter book. Cute story.

Lovely story
Great story for littles! Good artwork with just enough story to catch their attention. Mine loved it as a good night story and I just bought it again for my new grandchild.
