This heat pad is perfect for those with back/neck or sciatic pain going down into the bum. It’s a decent length and I can just about sit on it - slightly! It’s lovely and soft against the skin-mainly my neck, I find by pulling the shoulder flaps around my neck it just helps keep you all warm and snuggly. I put it on No 2 and you can feel the heat coming through within seconds onto your back in a matter of seconds, I can then sit there and it relieves my pain but also keeps me warm when others are cold. I keep it on my place on the settee, and put the shoulder flaps up on the back of the settee, and then it’s in the perfect position for when I next come to sit down.I really can not rate this high enough. Heat has always been a source of comfort and pain relief. A hot water bottle just didn’t cover a big enough area for my back pain, but this heats across the whole of my back, I can sit and read or watch tv comfortably with this. It’s just superb. And will be even more beneficial with the fuel prices the way they are. I can sit on the settee when it’s blowing a gale outside and be all snuggly and comfortable without my need for the heating being on in the house, I can put up with the house being cold while I’m on my way to bed switch an electric blanket on for me!! Nice low fuel prices for me!!! But I deffo recommend this item!

My osteopath said my long term upper back problem needed heat, so I go this and used it for about 2 weeks. MY back is now cured.That all started some months ago and my back is no longer painful ever.Since then, once in a while, I do a top up of it for a couple of days .It has saved me a fortune. NO more back pain at all. No more osteopath fees.I love using it and no, when we have a sudden cold spell it keeps my chilled bones deeply warm. I totally love it and find it one of the best things I have ever bought.My back ha softened up. It is a soft fabric and covers lots of area that is hard to heat up marginally. The controls are good and easy and , though it really needs a longer cord it is great to use and helping me a lot.I do use it I do love it. .I would not use a hot water bottle as much . This really does the job and you feel like using it..It is a nice thing that works. Fabulous thing it has turned out to be over many months now.

I love this item. The controls for the heat and time settings is very easy to use. The added collar and shoulder cover and fabric ties around the front of my waist means that it stays in place and is also comfortable. This keeps me warm when working from home on cold days and it has also helped ease some lower back pain when I pulled a muscle recently.

Provides a comforting and effective heat, easy to refresh when/if required. Having a port to plug in on both sides would improve this product to give greater flexibility of use.

This is both comfortable and effective. It was a a blessing when I hurt my shoulder recently because it buttons over the shoulder and the heat reached where I needed. It was quick to heat up with easy controls to control the level of heat and length of time it runs in case you fall asleep. You can preset your preferences for heat/time on for single button use. The material is beautifully soft and it folds easily for storage.

It's an ok heat pad but it dosent go hot enough to really reach the pain its more a medium heat which is ok to keep you warm but definitely not for a really bad injuries or arthritis

Due to some back problems, I use this on lower settings and times to relax after a particularly hard work out in the garden, allotment etc.
