Every couple of months I shave my head and for the next week or so I need something to keep it (and me) warm. This kufi was well-rated and not too pricey so I ordered one. It had a bit of a smell to it, likely from the manufacturing process, but I gave it a soap-and-lukewarm-water hand-wash and let it air-dry and the smell was gone. Worn properly, the fit is too tight for my large head; placed loosely on my head, with the edge folded up about a 1/2 inch, it's comfortable, it stays put and it keeps me warm. (Next few washes I'll try gently to stretch it out a bit.) For my needs, this was a good buy.
