Great toy!!! I am a speech-language pathologist, and I used this set as part of an ocean theme I am doing with my preschool students. Just wanted to give my input for any other SLPs or educators considering this item. The animals are vibrant and made of durable plastic. None of the items appear to pose a choking hazard-they are all approximately 2-3 inches in length. Several ocean rocks (one very large) and coral pieces are included. There are two of most of the animals, which works well if you are using this in classroom groups. I had my students request the animals they wanted and float them in a container of water (yes, they all float!). I introduced the opposites "wet" and "dry," and there were many opportunities to work on prepositions as well (e.g. the starfish is under the rock, the shark is next to the coral, etc). There are so many ways to use the animals...I will certainly be using them for years to come.

Generous amount of sea creatures- 2 of almost all so it is an excellent tool for counting and matching especially if doing an ocean or beach unit. They are a good size and well made. Our grand daughters use them quite often in all sorts of ways- sand play , doll house etc. One note of caution- don't leave them on the floor because they hurt to step on!!

They're a great bath toy! Keep in mind they are solid and have pointed edges so you wouldn't want to step on them or accidentally sit on them. The thing I like best is that there are no holes so no water can get inside. They're solid! And the colors are vibrant so the kids love them! Some of the colors are not realistic to sea life but for a bath toy they're great!

These are a nice play set for any child that loves sea creatures. Points lost for inaccurate color of the figurines (yellow sharks? Really?) and because they are made with really stiff, hard plastic. My son was using these as bath toys and the lobster "bit" him in a not so nice area. Because they are made from such hard plastic, they are not bendable at all and any edges are rather sharp. My son is 9 so I'm not too worried (however after the "biting" incident, he no longer plays with them in the tub, I noticed). I wouldn't recommend these for smaller kids because they have sharp edges and made from a really hard plastic that could scratch.

My grandson loves these and plays with them for long periods of time. My only complaint...and this only bothers me, not him...is that there are two different sizes of animals in the set. This means the lobster is larger than the whale. My grandson is only 2.5 years old though and this does not bother him so I did not grade it down a star.

My children absolutely love these toys!!! They are our bath time party toys! They are sturdy and quite large to my surprise. These toys also float on water which my children find so entertaining in their role playing. They seem as if the they are swimming as sea animals should. :) Thank you for an amazing bucket of fun! Priceless! **Beware of leaving these toys on the floor. They will kill your feet if you step on them as they are very well made with no give. Clean up always with these.

This set is extremely overpriced. My child enjoys playing with them but if I saw it in the store I don't think I would have even paid $10 for them.

although I expected two of each animal/fish pictured, our bucket arrived with multiple barnacles and only one of some of the creatures. Our second disappointment came when the paint didn't last through the first hour at the pool. It immediately started scratching and rubbing off. The only positive is that they float but they're very hard plastic so not ideal for the bathtub.
