Love the durable feeling, and how it blends in with our old wicker. I was worried if it would work, or if it was hard to repair furniture, but watch some YouTube videos, and you are set. It is easy to work with, and despite being plastic, it dosent look or feel cheap. I have bought 4 rolls now, and it has saved us so much money on outdoor furniture.

I used this product to re-weave a rattan arm chair that is ten years old. The chair is part of a table and chair patio set. Because of its location at the table, the hot sun had rotted the original rattan weaving along the top part of the chair. I didn't care much about trying to match the rattan. I mainly wanted to repair the chair in order to continue using it as part of the set. There was a lot of damage so it took me several days to do the re-weaving, but I was very pleased with the result. The width of the new strand was a perfect fit.

Laphivieh was very prompt in sending my order. However, the product received is much more striped than what appears in their listing. The first pic is of the actual product I received showing the stripes. It is nothing like what I need, see 2nd pic. Their listing pic appeared to be a much closer match than the product I received.If anyone knows of somewhere I can get a closer match to what I need, it would be much appreciated. However, this product received, although it appears to be of good quality, is not something I can use on my chairs.If the prodcut they sent looked more like the photo they use in their listing, I would have provided 5 stars. I would purchase from them again in the future if they have other items that I may be looking to buy.

I had some broken wicker on my arm chair. I couldn’t get the exact gray color so I ordered black as you can see in the photo it looks great and filled in all the broken wicker. The black hardly shows.

If you want inconsistent color, from a dark chocolate brown, then a honey orange with stripes, then go ahead and buy this. That’s why it’s cheap, folks. I had a repair on the tops of 2 planters and it took me 8 hours of weaving to get it done. I will NEVER do that again!!!!

I took off the old wicker from arms and side and just wrapped the arm. I needed 2-3 orders for each chair. If you plan on doing the weave to fill in the space, double that at least. At that point, you may want to consider replacing the chair as it gets expensive and it isn’t easy to do. Also, I used a glue gun but glue doesn’t hold well, messy to work with and it shows in spots. I would have used a paste for outdoor weather if I did it again. The product itself seems good; no issues on quality.

The wicker on the arm of our couch became brittle from the sun. The pieces easily snapped off so I replaced them with this strapping. The colour & width was excellent. My mistake was removing the damaged pieces BEFORE I wove in the new strapping. Do not do that! It was a nightmare to weave the strapping through. Much easier to weave the new ON TOP of the old. You can the remove the brittle pieces or just leave them. A small flat head screwdriver and needle nose pliers came in handy for weaving. I used Gorilla Crazy Glue on the corners and used pieces much longer than I really needed. Used up the entire 130 feet on the arm of this chair. Let’s hope it holds up now.

It is good for a product with thin rattan, but mine is wider than this product so it is my fault for not measuring properly

I liked the quality and the color variation. My daughter in law wove the material for us and it turned out great!

measure the size before you buy,I still used it anyway and doesn't really look too bad.good price and quality.
