Purple Carrot + C Luminous Night Cream

My skin is horribly dry and is prone to flaking and redness. I've used several highly recommended moisturizers with little improvement. I decided to try Andalou Naturals Purple Carrot night cream after reading the reviews. After a few days of using it (AM and PM) I noticed a huge reduction in dryness. After 2 weeks my skin is soft, the redness is toned down and is much brighter. I now only use it at night. The cream is light and non greasy. It absorbs quickly and leaves your face with a somewhat dewy glow...not shiney per say. Since it is so light you can get away with using it morning and night. The scent is light and pleasant. Will continue to purchase and use.

I’m glad I ordered this cream. There is no fragrance, and it really helps lighten my hyperpigmentation. It doesn’t bother my dry, sensitive skin. The cost is very affordable and a good moisturizer. This is my third time buying it. I’ll definitely continue.

I absolutely love this brand. I think the quality far exceeds the price in most cases. This is my first time trying any of the moisturizers but I gave the 1000 Roses night cream to my mom and she likes it. She loves anything rose. I love that they don’t use added artificial fragrance. The fragrance you detect is just from plant derived things. This one does kind of have a light candy-like smell as another reviewer said. Not overpowering. Beautiful light purple color which was unexpected. I guess from the purple carrot. The texture for me is alright. I’ve had moisturizers that make me go “wow.” But in many cases that’s a dead giveaway of silicones in a formula which I try to avoid because they suffocate the skin. It’s almost whipped. It has a pretty good oil content to it which you’d think would make it spread pretty well. I sprayed a hydrating mist on prior as well but found it skip a little when applying. Now that it’s on my face, neck, chest it feels pretty alright. It actually feels light even though I layered with the Andalou enlighten serum which has oils in it, as well as an antioxidant hyaluronic serum and then put an argan oil serum on top of all of that. Could be my skin is just dry after the peel I had the other day? This may not be right for someone who is super dry. This will be great for combo skin and for the warmer months. ☺️

Amazing moisturizer! After trying many different brands I finally found Andalou Naturals. This goes on smooth and leaves my face radient. Due to an illness, I have slight imperfections on both cheeks. Since using the daily clesnser and moisturizers those are barely noticeable. I also have a problem spot on the nuckle of my right thumb that becomes terribly dry to the point of cracking and bleeding. I used all kinds of lotions but nothing helped. The Purple Carrot Night Moisturizer completely eliminates it! I also use it as a daily moisturizer on the backs of my hands, as they begin to show some age, and on my outer thighs where I have slight stretch marks. Hands look amazing and stretch marks are much, much more faint. Truly has healing properties. Also had a skin break out on upper arm due to food allergies. Weeks went by before I began apply the night moisturizer. Wow! Massive improvement by the next morning. I now only use Andalou Naturals for all of my skin care as,well as hair. I wish they would make Purple Carrot in a larger size since it is great for much more than just the face. Hope they never change the formula!

Feels amazing, love that is has carrot with vitamin C, it is very soothing. Not too heavy either.

I have extremely dry skin and have loads of issues with acne scars caused by hyper pigmentation. I’ve tried various night face creams that I’ve purchased from amazon all without much of an impact. I decided to give this cream a try on a whim and I noticed a difference IMMEDIATELY. My skin instantly felt hydrated and refreshed. I’ve only been using the product for about a week now and it already looks like my complexion has gotten brighter. This stuff is the real deal. Also the cream so rich and pleasantly scent. I’m not usually a fan of scented products on my face but this one is just subtle enough for me to appreciate it but not overwhelm me. I also strive to only purchase cruelty free and sustainably produced products (not an easy task!) and this one fits the bill. I highly recommend this product! I should also mention that I don’t usually review products but this one impressed me enough I felt like I had say something about it. Thank you Andalou Naturals!

I like this brand but the particular product I usually use (also in an orange tub--Andalou Naturals Probiotic + C Renewal Cream, Probiotic Plus C, Complexion Enhancing Face Moisturizer) would have taken too long to arrive, so I got this instead. I don't like it as much. It's not as aromatic and it's also thicker and harder to spread.

I discovered Andalou Naturals products approximately 10 years ago. I always want as natural as possible, effective skin care products that are not outrageously expensive and this product line fits that. I have tried different face creams from them and feel some work better for me than others, but I love this one and use it day and night. For day I let it soak in a few minutes before adding next layer which is usually a tinted mineral sunscreen. And night use it’s usually the last layer. It doesn’t leave me greasy but does provide good moisture. I have seen it sold for various prices over the years from $10-ish to $23-ish. I don’t understand the large variation. So I was happy to find it for $12-ish here.

Thise cream coming open and used by some one!! Also there is no aluminum protective cover. Any manufacturer knows that products with vitamin C quickly oxidize and become of poor quality when they interact with oxygen, so everyone should have a protective cap at all times. It is dangerous for the skin to use oxidized vitamin C!! Does the manufacturer want to harm me by sending such a product?The product that I received did not have a protective cover, the jar was not full of cream.

Heaven in a bottle. A great surprise as I usually buy the Night Time Renewal Cream from the Andalou Clear Skin range. It was not available so I decided to try this one. It makes skin dewy like the light comes from under it. Totally recommend it.

Smells like marshmallow. My husband uses it too, however I find the consistency way too light. I would appreciate a thicker texture for the night. My dull skin is now radiant after 10 days using it, I can see a blatant difference. Safe ingredients, I recommend.
