**** Reviewed by my wife **** This is my first time using Herbal Essence shampoo and I am truly shocked by the difference in my hair, after just 2 uses. I would say my hair is well looked after to begin with and I do not scrimp on decent shampoo or conditioner but after just one and then particularly the 2nd shampooing, my hair had more body than I would have ever expected from just a shampoo. It is soft, shiny, has lots of bounce and is full of body. I simply did not expect this kind of result, especially at this price point. More to my surprise is the fact that this is part of a more ecologically friendly series and it has been my experience that while these new products are very good and important for bettering our environment, they are not always very effective compared to the "older" style of products. Not true here though, this one sports a much better ingredients list than we are used to seeing and yet, works very well. I will say this however, I found that unlike alot of other shampoos that I have used, this one really does benefit from the "wash, rinse and repeat" approach. It simply provides a much stronger lather, on the 2nd application. So, I find that I am using a little more of it, per wash. This particular variety is the Bourbon Manuka Honey. It is a pleasant enough fragrance but nothing overly in your face and much to my relief, I experienced no skin irritation, from my rather sensitive skin. I am really impressed with this brand. I know it has been around for awhile and I don't know how it has performed previously but this variety leaves me impressed, especially at this price point. I definitely recommend it.
