It's a pretty dope Iron Man figure. He comes with a lot of parts like hands, blast effects, lasers, jet brakes pieces, interchangeable forearms with missiles, hand armor to attach lasers to, interchangeable armor that has missiles out and battle damage armor for his faceplate and chest. the only cons is that he doesn't come with a flight stand, the trap armor pieces seem to fall off easy, he doesn't come with an unmasked Tony stark head and the paint might chip if you're not careful. overall, it's a solid release. if you don't have any of the previous mark vi iron man sh figuarts figures or you just want a good iron man figure for your collection, then pick him up.

This is my first SH Figuarts figure and I have mixed feelings about it. It comes in at a premium price point but it doesn't feel all that premium. The packaging feels cheap like something you would get with a Marvel legends or McFarlane figure. But overall that's not a huge deal. The bigger issue is that the size of this figure was a baffling decision from the designers. I believe the figure stands 5.85 inches tall. That means this is not truly a 1/12 scale figure. If you put it next to those it will look out of place. Even other SH Figuarts Iron Man figures are taller at just over 6 inches which is what this should have been. This really only scales with other figures from this Avengers 1 wave. Another issue I have is posing the figure, I get the impression that his figure is very brittle. I had to be very careful when working with it. Looking up several reviews online it seems to be a common issue with many SH Figuarts figures in general. Just be careful or you might end up breaking some pegs rendering some of the accessories useless. And on my figure in particular I have a defect where one of the shoulder armor flaps is very loose. OK now on to the good. Let's start with the aforementioned accessories. They are fantastic. In fact, even though I knew this figure was too small before I bought it, I went ahead and bought it anyway because the accessories are so good. I hate all of Iron Man's nano tech weaponry in the later movies. For me, this figure comes with all of the best and most iconic weapons. Shoulder-mounted missiles and darts, forearm-mounted missiles, wrist-mounted lasers and of course palm repulsors with blast effects. You also get a battle damaged chest plate and mask as well as flight effects for the feet. Though strangely no flight stand to display it that way... I also love the sculpt and paint on this figure. I don't like how paint can be overly glossy on some other Iron Man figures. Makes it look cheap IMO. So I really liked how this figure comes with a more screen-accurate matte red finish. Overall I like this figure and I think the pros outweigh the cons. However, given the shortcomings I would recommend trying to find it on sale below MSRP.

It is not worth the price. It is cheap material, flimsy, breaks very easy. It is way too small for $100. The hands break easy and the hammer handle broke as well. Tamashii will never get my money again. Live and learn.

Looks absolutely perfect on display! Lots of posing options as well as additional shield with “battle damage”. Very well articulated and detailed!! Definitely not for smaller children tho!! This one is for the grown up kids like me !

I ordered this Thor as he was at a fantastic price, and the wired cape was AH-MAZING. However, when it came to switching out Mjolnir’s handle to have the hammer with lightning effects? Handle broke off inside the hammer. Just a tiny bit, too, meaning there was no way to pry it out. Not worthy!

Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts range includes some of the best 1:12 scale action figures on the market. This is a great figure, with amazing articulation and a stunning sculpt. If you love the Marvel Cinematic Universe as I do, there really aren’t any better 1:12 scale figures on the market. The only downside is the choice of characters from each series/film is quite limited…
