DERNORD 1.5 Inch Sanitary Tri Clamp to 1/2" Male Tri Clover

I hesitated to leave a review for this item because it simply is what it says it is; however, I remember when I was looking for something like this none of the reviews answered questions I had. Are the threads high quality (deep enough to prevent stripping)? Is the stainless actually good or sub-par? Is the size the actual size it says it is? The threads are deep and well done. With some plumber's tape, they seal flawlessly and can take a beating, even if you cross thread on accident. The stainless steel is of high quality. I live in a very moist environment (humidity levels 70% nearly year round) and there is no pitting whatsoever. I do an oxygen wash and StarSan clean -- air dry -- voila! All good. The size is correct. It is 1.5inches and the thread is 3/4". It will, thus, fit all standard fitting tri-clamps and standard 3/4" threads on brewing equipment. Highly recommend! Alternatives are much more expensive and there is literally no difference as far as I've seen.

Made well works as promised

I buy a lot of tri clover fittings and most have some nicks, not finished well, or lack flat spots to use a wrench. These are beautifully finished and packed well to prevent damage. Actually some of the highest quality I've seen. I will be buying this brand exclusively from now on.

No need to look anywhere else, these are as good as the ones that are made from a national brand. Fit perfect, have used daily for a year now and they are as good as day 1. Amazing value, you won't find any cheaper, trust me I looked!

It was perfect for my project, it worked well it was in the right diameter the fittings I use fit right on with out any problems and no leaks at all.
