I purchased these for one of the classes I teach with my middle school students. It's a medical forensics activity with part focusing on doing fingerprints. I didn't want to use an ink pad because I do this in a computer lab. And so the inkless product is perfect. The students can take their fingerprints and clean their hands with a simple hand wipe.
