Review: I read a lot about markets, investing and trading. After about 10 years of experience in the markets i have to admit that this is one of the best books ive ever read! The whole background about buffetts value investing in one book! There are many examples and the math behind it is very well described. Its more like a tutorial explaining completely everything. Why is it better than other books? Because theres no blabla in this book. Everything is described in metaphors so its even easy for beginners to follow. Advanced readers are able to take a different perspective concerning the markets. Absolute recommendation!

I read a lot about markets, investing and trading. After about 10 years of experience in the markets i have to admit that this is one of the best books ive ever read! The whole background about buffetts value investing in one book! There are many examples and the math behind it is very well described. Its more like a tutorial explaining completely everything. Why is it better than other books? Because theres no blabla in this book. Everything is described in metaphors so its even easy for beginners to follow. Advanced readers are able to take a different perspective concerning the markets. Absolute recommendation!

After a job change, I needed to get into a podcast while driving into work. Behold, I found TIP by Preston and Stig. They seemed to reference their book a few times in the podcast and it definitely is good for all types of investors. They take difficult concepts and make it so simple to understand. Definitely some parts of the book a little trickier than others (e.g. intrinsic value calculation) but Rome wasn't built in a day either. Highly recommend these guys, they are a genuine duo and I have learnt so much from these two. Happy reading!

Se trata de una guía introductoria (pero más que suficiente) de los 3 estados financieros y las maneras de evaluar el valor intrínseco de una compañía cotizada. Se comparte también las métricas y estrategias utilizadas por Warren Buffett para valorar empresas.

If you have NEVER seen a set of financial statements this book could be an introduction. But that's it, do not expect more. If you have a minimum knowledge of accounting this book is totally useless. It will not help your investing activities. It's actually quite annoying that the authors quote Buffett many times, it seems to me like clickbaiting. Avoid wasting your time!!
