Vega Sport Sugar-Free Energizer Acai Berry, 112 Gm

I used their products for over 10 years now, but they have declined greatly. I have purchased this product after they replaced their old pre-work (which was amazing) with this one. Twice now I have purchased it and both times I have open the seal to see one solid chunk. I couldn't even dig it out with a knife. I sucked it up the first time and found ways to dig it out ( by cutting open the packaging and blending the product) but I wasn't willing to do this a second time for a product I'm paying for. But the worst part is that don't take refunds. How convenient to recieve a faulty product twice and have no way to do anything about it. It's a shame to for them to fall so far below the greatness they once were. I was genuinely such a big fan and I'm disappointed for what they are now. As far as flavor goes, its very strong. Now in my case, when I'm able to dig it out, it won't dissolve in the water at all so I started to opt for just chewing it which is a sour jolt that'll wake you up faster than coffee in the morning but that goes far beyond its original design. Vega, you lost a customer. Do better.

I just realized I've ordered this 14 times so I thought I should write a review. It works. It gives me a clean boost at the gym and I power through 20-30 minutes of weights and 20-30 minutes of cardio with zero fatigue, 6 days a week. I'm hesitant to say I'm a little addicted to it. My workouts are unbearable without it. The taste is OK, but a little on the salty side. I assume this is electrolytes to replace those lost with working out. I'm a 46 year old female, vegan, and average height/weight. I'm not super muscular or perfectly athletic; I just really like working out when I take this stuff.

I originally chose this pre-workout because it contained no artificial sugar, which is surprisingly hard to find. However, I almost returned it because it tastes like horse food, as if they took a dried beets with leaves and stalk attached, and ground it into a powder form. I decided to give it a go because pre-workout doesn’t have to taste great, it needs to do its job. The taste does not get easier as time goes by, but I am able to ignore it more. I have to say, the clean, rejuvenating energy that comes about half an hour later is incredible and it lasts a couple of hours. No jitters or tingles, and I want to bop around the gym saying hello to strangers while busting out a hard lift session. Definitely the best energy of all time!

Great taste! Definitely gives you the boost before a workout!

The powder was completely solidified and hard as a rock. I tried to break up the powder but to no avail, it was unusable.
