I use this product in my homemade toothpaste and it works/tastes just as I'd expect. Packaging is high quality, will order again.

Texture is just like sugar! All other brands of xylitol I have tried are grainy and coarse. This one will disperse evenly over a food item like blueberries. In addition although I think all xylitol has the same level of sweetness as sugar, the Zint brand tastes the most like sugar. This being said, I will explain to you what I use xylitol for: Cavity prevention. I take a tablespoon of xylitol and swish it around in my mouth for five minutes after I eat or drink anything sweet or acidic and after meals. It is the least expensive way to use for dental health. It also has the advantage of rinsing your mouth well and giving you a gum massage. And all this swishing has made my teeth whiter and smoother. I have a TERRIBLE time with cavities! It is not uncommon for me to get four, even six cavities a year! I used to oil pull with coconut oil, but it's so gross. Anyway to make a long story short, I did all sorts of research on cavity prevention and have embarked upon the following regimen: Xylitol swishing. ( I always swish with it before I brush my teeth and of course don't rinse my mouth.) Two prescription fluoride treatments per day. Vitamin K2 supplement. Ceylon cinnamon supplement. Magnesium supplement and calcium supplement with D3, twice as much magnesium as calcium. D3 supplement. I space the supplements out so the vitamins and minerals don't compete with one another: Multivitamin and calcium and D3 with breakfast. Ceylon cinnamon and K2 with lunch. Always ingest a little fat with the K2 to make it work better. Magnesium before bed. I have been following this regimen for several months now. I will find out if it worked when I go to my next dental check-up. Will keep you posted. P.S: I keep it at my bedside in case I wake up with dry mouth. And I take it with me in a zip lock bag and a spoon when I go out. After I eat, I either go off to the side outside of the restaurant and do my swishing, or else I get in my car and use a, to-go" cup to spit in. Praying all this will be worth it. Will keep you posted!

Great product. Advice....Replace all of the sugar in your house and artificial sweeteners. Use Xylitol! It tastes like real sugar and has absolutely no aftertaste like artificial sweeteners!! None. It is not an artificial sweetener. It is a healthy and great tasting alternative to sugar, which causes weight gain and dental problems. This is a natural sweetener made from fibrous fruits and birch trees. I'm a dental hygienist and for the life of me, I don't understand how Xylitol is not a huge sensation in America!!! It should replace sucrose, (sugar) which causes tooth decay and other health problems. Xylitol actually helps to prevent tooth decay because it does not break down into acids like sugar does. It can actually kill bacteria that cause gum disease. It's very healthy and as dental clinicians we encourage patients to chew gum with Xylitol to help with dry mouth and prevent decay. I put it in my coffee and use it to replace sugar in everything to avoid gaining weight and tooth decay. Tastes really good.

You heard me right....great taste very close to sugar with no bad aftertaste. I read xylitol dissolves plaque on teeth! It's working! What's not to love? And it's organic! 5 stars!

This is the best sugar substitute available. Forget all the others including Stevia with its objectionable aftertaste. I've read that too much ("too much" will be different for everyone) will give you the "backyard trots". I use Xylotol for each cup of coffee or tea each day (usually 4 to 5 cups) and with unsweeted cereal. So far no problems. This caution is the only reason I did not give the product 5 stars.
