Kaweco 060 Fountain Pen Nib - Gold, Extra Fine Nib

I recently bought a Kaweco Art Sport with a fine nib and found it to be a bit too dry for my tastes. This medium nib made all of the difference. Swapping them out is a simple task: just screw out the original nib and feed assembly and screw this one in. Easy peasy. I find the writing to be smoother and ink flow is more to my liking without being too wet, although I know ink selection can make a difference (I’m currently using Private Reserve Shoreline Gold in my pen). Overall, this is a simple and inexpensive way to try different nib sizes in your Kaweco Sport.

Im giving 4 stars because I’ve had to purchase 2 to replace nibs that were scratchy and did not flow well enough to keep up with faster writing. It would scratch the paper enough to ball up on the nib and have to be cleaned frequently.

I absolutely love my Kaweco Brass Sport. Unfortunately I dropped it, and bent the nib. I was able to bend it back, and it was very much usable, but it nagged me, and wrote a bit scratchy. It was a F nib and I decided to move up to a M. The nib unit is so easy to replace, and the M writes much smoother than F. The line width still seems like a fine, but the ink flow is much smoother. Replaced the silver nib with gold to match my pen too. No more nagging feeling about a bent scratchy nib, I’m a happy dude now.

This F nib replaced the EF original nib that came with my brass sport. The EF was great but ran slightly dry. This nib lays down almost as fine a line but has much better flow. It's amazing, and is my edc.

This worked great to replace my Kaweco Sport F nib! The process for replacing the nib is a multi-step process. JetPens has a great tutorial on this process, with pictures, but briefly: 1) Remove the old nib and feed from your current pen. Grab top and bottom, careful not to break the fins, and pull out. You might need to twist gently back and forth or have water/ink in the feed to lubricate. 2) Remove the new nib and feed from the holder they are in (from this item). See above tips. 3) Swap the new nib in to your feed. Make sure it's aligned on the feed and push firmly into the pen.

Loooove the change from EF to B nib! I can admire my beautiful ink more. Also noticed a super smooth writing experience vs the EF. It was the perfect fit for my Kaweco Sport classic.

Nice flow. One of the best characteristics of Kaweco is the ability to easily replace the nibs and feed without having to make adjustments.
