Amazing price! Love Beachbody!
I love beach body workouts! I have consistently bought several in the past and they always pump me up and the workouts are so fun, so much that I typically forget I'm working out! I have another one of Shawn t's systems and love it! I can't wait to start using this one! Pounds be gone!!! Plus the deal on Amazon was amazing!

Great workout if you have already been working out.
I found this workout to push me more than some of my previous workouts. I have lost weight and I am seeing more definition. The 30 minute part is great also because I feel like I am getting results without taking too much of my day.Problem is, one of the disks in month 2 will not play at all. By the time you get to it the return window has closed. I feel a bit ripped off by that.

Great if you want bigger legs
I waited a full year before I felt I could properly review this series. After 10+ years of Insanity, I thought a new workout would mix things up. It is hard but after a couple weeks of each workout, I could do most of the workout (there was a lot of muscle exhaustion with the push-up moves so I just modified those). I always felt great after each one because I'd never sweat like that before. But I was not losing weight. I was gaining muscle but more importantly *bulk* in my legs. I have thick legs to begin with but Insanity helped me shape them nicely. The last thing I wanted was more bulk. Ugh. Finally after 9 months and realizing these moves were bulking up my legs only then did I notice that most of the girls in the videos have pretty muscular legs as well. So, I've reduced the workouts to modified/low impact. It's not the same and it feels too easy but anything to reduce this bulk. I've also added other non-bulky workouts and it seems to reduce them back down. Apart from that, I can tell you what I liked better about Max vs Insanity. What's better about Max:- 30 mins, boom. You're done. Regardless of month 1 or 2- moves are not boring- participants all have same/good form and there's not focus on one person (you know who I mean) so if I'm not getting the right instruction from Shawn I can look at almost any one to know what the right form is.What's better about Insanity:- I didn't bulk up with these workouts (but they're sooo long)- Shawn T: he was up and coming and was a lot more humble (he gave off this weird dom/bossy/egotistical vibe in Max. His instructions (or lack thereof) were annoying sometimes. I'd rather know what was coming up or what was the correct form than hearing constant bantering. E.g. one time he tells us to go our own pace but then seconds later, he's counting the moves so that we can't help but to go his pace).- stretching - he incorporated some yoga moves that helped with flexibilityOverall, it was a good challenge. I felt really good about myself when I was able to complete the workouts without breaking. But for girls like me who want to keep slim trunks, it's best to stay away.
