The original igniter finally burned out on our QuadraFire Classic stove. The technician could not come out for several days and we were cold, so I ordered this as a stopgap. When the technician didn’t show, I pulled up YouTube and saw how to install it. It went in with little difficulty, fitting just like the original did, and our stove is now working. Whether it will be as durable as the original equipment remains to be seen, but the house is warm.

Just put this in today since my original igniter finally burned out. This product appears to be almost identical to the OEM unit, down to the cable and spade connector cap colors. It makes me question whether the original products are not also made in China. The only difference is the original did not have a large washer and instead, the mounting screw had a small flared base built in to the screw to act like the washer.The clamp that holds the metal bracket that holds the prongs together was installed 180 degrees in the wrong direction. I assume it was a QC oversight at the factory. I had to slightly bend the bracket to slide it off, flip it around and reinstall. Not a big deal but I did knock a star off for that. We’ll see how long this lasts and I’ll update my review if it doesn’t.

Super easy part to replace. Used it on Quadrifire Castile insert. Fit great, but the wires are quite long. I just looped them and tucked them behind the controller box.

Great price, perfect fit and arrived quickly. Pellet stove is working fine again.

The igniter on our pellet stove quit working. My husband gave me the part # and model from our stove, and it took longer to take the side panel off the stove than to install the new igniter. Works perfectly.
