First off, the external hardware of these locks was pretty much identical to the lock i was replacing. As a result, it was easy to install and worked smoothly. However, the security of these locks is subpar.Even if you plan to use the keys that are sent with the locks, I recommend that you get the pins in these locks replaced. I was able to open the locks that I received very easily by inserting the blade of a pen knife into the key way and twisting. The problem is that pins in the locks are heavily rounded at the shear line so the lock can still open even when the pins are not fully aligned. This makes these locks very easy for someone to pick open and meant that only one pin was actually holding the lock closed. This is not a secure lock.
