Best for the Money, honey.
I'm giving this product 5-stars because I feel, at this price point, it delivers the expected amount of performance, style and quality that you would typically find at a slightly higher price. This board is not perfect but here's what I thought:I bought this board and it arrived quickly and we packaged. My board turned out to be blue and red which was fine and comes with an AWESOME coil leash. This was very appreciated at this price point. The board has no real rocker but it's size really allows you to catch waves and drop in. It's not as maneuverable as other boards I've ridden but I feel that's a size thing. It likes going straight down the face of the wave and can turn if you coax it. No problems quality wise and I was really happy for the 1-3' waves at the jersey shore.I think it could be more buoyant. My wife rides a 38 c-core she got in California and that seems more buoyant pound for pound.Bottom line- I'm 245lbs and was catching waves and riding them to the sand given enough power from the break. Stiff and good shape make it solid. For the money I think this is great board. Note- I don't beach my boards or auger into the sand if I go over the falls. With some responsible use and keeping these out of the blazing sun the board will last.

Great board for the price!
I bought this board and couldn't be much happier with it. The leash is really nice quality, though I did extend the rope a little bit as I wanted more slack when paddling with it attached to my wrist. (You can just unscrew the plug from the bottom side and put in a new piece of rope.) I've ridden it twice so far and it has held up well. I'm just a bit under 6' and around 190lbs and the board is right on the verge of being a bit too big for me. I was aware of this going in, but thought I would mention it. I happen to like the size though because, if you have the skill, you can ride drop knee on the board without much fear of it snapping even without a stringer. I've not had any problems with the board delaminating or anything like that. The screen printing on the bottom of the board was not particularly well-done, but for the price, I am totally satisfied with the board. In case anyone else was wondering about what colors they might get, mine was blue on top and red on the bottom.

Decent board, not stellar
Decent Board. There's a bit of flex in it, but it feels like it will snap if you put a high amount of pressure on it. I sit on mine between sets and there's a crease in it already after just a couple of sessions. Better than the $25 junkers that snap in the first hour at beachside stores, but not better than an airwalk of body glove if you have access to those locally.

Not what I expected from this brand
We bought this brand expecting better. We used it TWO days and the front piece peeled away from the board. It was not left out in the sun or treated roughly. When we contacted the company they would hardly deal with us, told us to contact Amazon. I was disappointed that they didn't want to take responsibility for their board. My husband is a surfer and likes their brand but this has changed our mind. We bought another brand at the same time and it held up a lot better. Guess name brand is not always better. Just very disappointed in their customer service as well as their product!

Great product. But damaged in shipping
I’m a huge fan of CBC (California Board Company). They make great and durable products. It arrived on time and I love the design I received considering you can’t pick the color or design. However, I’m rather disappointed in the condition of how it arrived. There is a decent sized crease in it shown in my third pic. I won’t penalize CBC by lowering the review since it doesn’t reflect them as a company. But still disappointed that my new board is creased. Definitely buy their products. Hopefully they will acknowledge the fact that I’m disappointed with the condition of it and do something for me... We shall see. But don’t let this deter you from buying from them. You get more than what you pay for with them, so I still give them 5 Stars across the board

Wow, they weren't kidding about colors may vary...
The default photo is a grey and black board, so one would assume that this color combination would at least be one of the options they provide. I ended up with a baby blue and bright red board... I feel like they should have some sort of system showing the possible colors at least. What if I ended up with pink and green or something even more childish looking? As a product for large people, primarily fully-grown adults, it makes the product look cheap and Walmart-y.For the price, the quality seems fair. It isn't as hard as I would prefer, that's what she said, but I would imagine it wouldn't break on the first go either.

Sturdy board for Adults
I bought this board for a week at the beach at Amelia Island, Fl. I heeded the warnings of didn't leave it in the sun etc. I'm a 220 lb 6 ft male and this board did great on good waves. Worked even better on my 80 lb 7 yr old daughter. I would recommend this board.
