Perfect for holding IEMs
Got these to wind up my IEMs as they aren't the primary headphones I use at my desk. This works perfect to store them and keeping the cables for not getting tangled up.It's just a flexible piece of silicone so it isn't the most durable thing but it works well for what it does.Would be great for any type of corded earbuds. It is a little bit on the larger side (a little bigger than the palm of your hand) so keep that in mind if space is tight.Overall I'm happy to have it and it will get a ton of use from me.

Works but a bit fussy
This has an interesting design in theory but the simpler budley beats it for ease of use.

Inventor Deserves a Medal
To the reader(s) of this review. If you're like me, you can't keep headphones in good condition to save your life. It's not your fault, you don't abuse them, you don't just toss them in your pockets or backpack all willy-nilly while they bounce around in there crashing into every ear-bud destroying object which is basically everything that's a solid chunk of matter. This nifty silicon case eliminates all these issues. This would be money well spent for music lovers on the go who, like me, lose more earbuds to unintential destruction than you can keep count. The Nest is made of a rubbery, matte finished silicon and is about 2" in diameter give or take. As you can see from the pictures, the outer "rim" unfolds exposing the inner portion of the case which has six "teeth" that flex to hold your earbuds inside the center of the case while you wind the cable around the cyndrilical portion, place in the cord, then fold back the "rim" to keep your earbuds snugly secure. That's it! The case is brilliantly designed and does it's job perfectly. Now I realize between the words rim and teeth I may have described something out of a horror movie than an earbud case but I assure you this sucker is anything but a monstrosity. The silicon is tough and you won't feel like you are going to cause damage by regular use; but I'd vouch be gentle with it regardless if you can help it. It seems to catch dust easily, I can those little fuzzies all over mine but frankly who cares; I mean note that there are NO REVIEWS for this thing under four stars and for good reason. If you've been searching high and low across the endless data that is the internet for an earbud case; your quest is at an end, noble Amazon browser. You have found your earbud case.NOTE: To all those who have earbuds with a line-in mic, the case still works. Here's what I do to use it since my earbuds have a mic. Unfold the case as normal and insert the mic into the case with the cables sticking out on opposite ends of the center. Wrap the earbuds themselves in one direction and the auxiliary jack in another, and put them back into the center with the mic. It will be a bit of a squeeze, but I've never run into any issues. Even this isn't worth taking a star off for.

Tidy little solution.
I've long used an old Shure hardcase for my IEMs, the nice small circular one with the winding basket in the middle. I don't know why nobody makes anything like that anymore. All of my IEMs have fit handily in it, and the winding basket (a hard plastic hollow cylinder in the middle - put the IEMs inside and wind the cord around the outside) makes packing up quick and easy, and prevents tangles. Shure now sells a larger version, and I don't know of any true alternatives to the original. I don't like the hardcases which are just empty inside save for a bit of netting, what an inconvenient mess. And I certainly don't like the cheap pouches many manufacturers like to go with, offering slim-to-no protection. I have enough IEMs hanging around right now that I needed to try to find another solution. Particularly, with the HiFiMAN RE-600, which needs a balanced-to-single-ended adaptor cable, things are a little tight in the Shure case, and the flexibility and convenience of The Nest seemed like a good idea. Protection-wise, I'd put The Nest somewhere between the useless pouch and a hardcase, though closer to the hardcase than one might expect. The silicone is fairly thick, and the IEMs themselves are rather safe in their little cubby. The top bit, where you push the IEMs through, is rather open, and I suspect give the right combination of things-in-a-bag, foreign objects could find their way through and muck up your IEMs. Additional reinforcement would be welcome, I think The Nest could be considerably less flexible while still retaining its convenience. And, convenient it certainly is. Use is similar to my beloved Shure case, though slightly better, as the silicone 'holds on' to the cable, rather than pulling as you wind. While this is a rare necessity, I'm sure, it is easy to get the HiFiMAN adaptor cable tucked away as well - there is plenty of space in the cubby. One could keep spare tips or the like in there as well. While I still don't think it's entirely ideal from a protection point of view, this does seem to be one of the (if not -the-) overall best/tidiest IEM cases currently on the market.

Really are the best way to store corded earbuds
I've tried a lot of other cord-keeper style earbud storage, and I like these cord "mushroom" style the best. Cords are kept. The buds themselves are protected in the center of the spool. They're squishable silicone so they can conform to a small pocket. There used to be several clones of this style, but I can only currently find the Digital Innovations The Nest version on Amazon these days (May 2021). The prices used to be better as well, but I really needed another one and coughed up the $10.94 for a blue standard size one. I think they used to be two for $10 on sale: Around $9 each otherwise.I had no problem with shipping time or the product (Amazon was the seller/shipper). Fakespot gives the reviews a 'C', but maybe because few people are buying and reviewing wired earbuds these days. Some days you just don't want to deal with Bluetooth pairing issues :)The image is of my black case with my favorite old House of Marley cheapies inside.26 May 2021

This works.
This product saves time untangling my IEM cables. My only gripe is the price.

Saw a work colleague from the States using one of these. Certainly keeps wires from 'bird nesting' in one's pocket - genius, yet simple design!

Great concept but smells horrible after a while
I'm not sure exactly what happened but there is an odd smell of old rubber after using it for a few weeks. I purchased 2 together and one seems to have a strong "burnt rubber" smell, the second has a strong plastic smell. The concept is nice, though, and carries a compact wall adapter + the accompanying cable together in a compact form. It's easy to access both the cable and the wall adapter by turning the edges down.

Don't get the XL one!
I accidentally bought the XL one. It's too big to be useful (particularly if you are using it with ear buds). They don't really talk about the sizes in the product description, so I decided to air on the side of caution and get the XL -- big mistake! I previously bought a regular sized one (same design, different vendor), and it really works great when the size is right.
