Reduced my Pellet consumption, but made a mess of the grill
The Traeger Pellet Grills BAC626 Pro 22/575 Insulation Blanket is designed to provide added insulation to your Traeger Pro 575 or Pro 22 grill, enabling it to maintain a consistent temperature in colder weather conditions. The installation process is relatively easy and straightforward, and the blanket fits perfectly over the grill. The insulation blanket works well in maintaining a consistent temperature in colder weather, allowing you to cook your favorite meals without any temperature fluctuations. Customers have reported significant improvements in their grill's performance and efficiency after using this insulation blanket. However, some customers have reported that the insulation blanket makes the grill's exterior dirty due to the accumulation of soot and ash. This can be inconvenient and may require extra cleaning efforts.Overall, if you frequently use your Traeger grill in colder weather conditions, the Traeger Pellet Grills BAC626 Pro 22/575 Insulation Blanket is a worthwhile investment. It helps maintain a consistent temperature, improves efficiency, and makes your cooking experience more enjoyable. But, be prepared to clean the exterior of the grill more frequently due to soot and ash accumulation.

Great in sub zero temps
Works well in -30 degree temps. Without the blanket the Treager’s would burn through pellets like crazy and still not hold temperature. Blanket cured it.

Makes a difference
Been using this for 2 months now and it definitely makes a difference. I used my traeger 575 once in 32f weather and it kept dipping temp. Used this blanket and in 29f weather it kept the temp actually higher at time. It'll do the job

Works great
Definitely keeps your bin nice and warm in the colder temps. Consistent temperatures while cooking & less pellets used while smoking, the only little downfall is the front of the cover does get in the way a little while opening and closing if you have your front trey opened up, also do not use this blanket in replacement of an actual cover I still recommend you get a cover for your smoker as this will only shield your bin and not your pellet holder.

Fits Ironwood 885 like a glove!!
If you’re reading this because you have a sweet Ironwood 885 and, like me, you can’t believe that Traeger doesn’t make a blanket for it - keep reading. I was researching the different Traeger and aftermarket blankets and noticed the 780 seemed to have similar specs to the 885.I did an online chat with two different Traeger reps. The first one told me no, this won’t fit. The second one said, you don’t need it, the ironwood is double walled. I said, meh, maybe, but you try Traegering when it’s 5 degrees out and you’ve got a hankering for some smoked meat. They went on to say, well the specs seem similar, you could try it.I figured with Amazon’s return policy it was worth a shot. Plus, when I ordered, Amazon had a ‘used, very good’ one for about 1/3 the retail price. Btw, it was brand new.I couldn’t believe when I tried it on and it fit like a glove! See pics, even the sides were perfect. Which tells me Traeger probably uses the same barrel for these two models. Maybe the ironwood has a higher capacity bc of the top shelf. Now the downside, is that the Ironwood has that long horizontal vent in back for fresh air. The blanket would seal this tight. Seeing as I really wanted a blanket, and again only paid a fraction of msrp, I was ok taking a blade and carefully trimming a few holes to allow it to vent. I may need more, TBD. I probably should’ve stitched the holes closed, but I had some aluminum type duct tape and taped them up. We’ll see if that holds.Oh, I have the Traeger cover for the 885, it fits as it should even with the blanket left attached.
