I used these for making Christmas ornaments with my little brother and boyfriend as a craft. It was really fun, and these were perfect for the activity!

The items arrived quickly and in good condition. I am branding the wood rounds for the centerpieces at my daughter’s wedding reception with their initials and date.I need a certain size so I basically have to over order and hand pick the size that works. My only disappointment, would be the range of sizes. However I understand how difficult that would be.

5 out of the 30 cracked. I let them sit for a few weeks before painting them, and two had cracked at that point. When I went to put a base layer of acrylic paint on them, 3 more cracked. Overall, still a decent deal for 25 usable slices. I'd definitely recommend letting them sit for a while, then doing a base layer and letting them sit for a few hours before continuing to paint them. I'm glad they cracked before I put more effort into them.

These were the perfect size and quality for my use- I made personalized ornaments gift tags out of them. The wood color is very bright and consistent, she shape and size are consistent enough to be reliable but have enough variation to seem natural. The surface was very smooth and could be painted on or written on very easily- even with pen. The bark didn’t come off in chunks, which I was worried about. I did not use the included hooks or strings, but they seemed to be good quality. The wood has very small pre drilled holes for the hooks which I didn’t notice until I searched for them.

Exactly what they say they are, a tiny slice of wood. Most were on the smaller size of the size range. I ended up buying some that were a little larger to meet my needs of making ornaments with photo transfers . I also prefer ones with a hole already drilled in them for a string. Even so, I knew what I was buying, so that’s on me. My granddaughter uses them in her natural block building collection and enjoys them.

These have a smooth finish, and worked well for what I needed them. However, out of 30 wood slices, 12 were cracked and unusable. In comparison, I ordered three other sizes from another company, and only one or two pieces a bag were cracked.

These were quality wood slices. Clean. Came with two kinds of cords and screw eyes so you could complete the ornament craft activity Very thoughtful. So unusual nowadays to get a complete anything.

A little smaller then I expected (my fault, I didn’t measure) but they are still great! My daughter and I will be painting them for a Christmas ornaments activity! Just make sure to use a bottom coat of waterproof paint so the wood doesn’t crack, I use clear waterproof paint so it doesn’t effect the colors or designs I paint.
