Q: Can you use this for hot oil treatments?

I wouldn't recommend it. It works great as a leave it. It helps build the hair shaft to make it strong.

Q: Has anyone tried this to remove chemical odor from a weave or dyed hair extensions?

No, I would not recommend that. Is the weave or extensions still in? If no, try washing the hair in an Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse, let it soak for 10 minutes or if applying to your own hair, you can spray the mixture onto your scalp and leave for for 10 minutes. Then wash, thoroughly. After that, Crème of Nature Argan 7 in 1 Leave-In Conditioner should work well as a leave in. Also, you should research you question on YouTube.
